Look up into the night's sky
What do you see?
The dark blue sky above,
But no star can be seen
The contrast of white clouds floating by
The full moon shining bright,
Lighting up the world for the nightlife
A twinkling star pokes out from behind the cloud
What is your wish?
I wish upon this star,
That life could be so beautiful
Like night skies
I wish to be that one tinkling star,
That will set the others in motion
To create a wave that will make this night more beautiful

We see the world through our eyes, but there is more than that
When we look at someone we look into there eyes, but there is more of them
Our eyes are important to our lives, but there are other important things as well
It is with our eyes that we see someone, but there is more beneath the surface
Our eyes see what is on the surface, but there is so much more we cannot see
We need to look with the eyes of our soul
Our eyes on the surface allow us to see what is on the surface,
But the eyes of our soul allow us to see beyond that
We can see into the world with our soul
When we look with our souls into another's eyes we can see there passion, desire, rage, and love
The eyes of our soul see the important things in life
It is when we look with our soul into another soul that we see what lies beneath
It is when we look with the eyes of our soul that we see the true meaning of life

I am brave and caring
I wonder if life will get better
I hear God’s voice in my head telling me what’s right
I see a hopeful future
I want to be accepted
I am brave and caring
I pretend that life’s okay and nothing’s wrong
I feel scared for the future
I touch pieces of my past to see the future
I worry that my life will break again whenever I fix it
I cry when I get stressed and angry
I am brave and caring
I understand that people care about me
I say that life goes on
I dream that one day there will be peace in my life
I try to push through my problems
I hope that I will find something better

Perfect
There is no such thing as perfect
The perfect person does not exist
We all have flaws
Embrace your flaws
They are what make us who we are
Stop trying to be perfect
Perfection is unreachable
That is the beauty of the world
No one is perfect,
Therefore, no one is better than another
We all have our faults
Recognize them
They make you an individual
Don’t worry about being perfect
Just be yourself

Hope, dreams, inspirations
Hope is all we have in this world
We have nothing more to hold onto then our hope for what may come
We hope for the better parts of life
Dreams are the only things that kept us going and looking towards the future
Our dreams of what we can do and who we can be
We dream of life after high school and college
We dream of having a family
Inspirations give us something to base all of this off
The people in our lives inspire us to become better
We looked to others for inspirations and from there we get dreams
We get hope from our inspirations because if they can do it so can we

This day is temporary
When tomorrow comes it will all be gone and I can start fresh
The pain I feel is temporary
When tomorrow comes it will all be gone and I will be whole
The sadness I feel is temporary
When tomorrow comes it will all be gone and I will have joy
The hurt and suffering I feel is temporary
When tomorrow comes it will all be gone and I will have peace
All of the pain, tears, and struggles I go through are temporary
When the temporary is gone I will have love
I will have peace and joy and I will be one whole person
The temporary is just that, temporary
But love will last forever

The wind was blowing
The waves were rocking the boat
The disciples were frightened
Jesus was fast asleep
"Lord, save us! We're going to drone!"
Then he told them to have faith
Jesus rebuked the winds and the waves
The sea was calm
All of the men were amazed
They then knew he was God
