Up in the morning

My dreaming is over
But my thoughts have begun

Life's emotional pain

With dozens of friends

Those friendships suddenly end

The earth is such an evil place
With sickness, famine and the wars we face
Heavens tears fall from the sky
What men do the angles cry
Heartless souless evil men
Enjoy the pain they put you in
Choke the spirit out of you
Trample your dreams that's what they do
**** and rob your inner child
Satin laughing he's so beguiled
**** the faith inside of you
The gates of hell your passing through
Steal away your dignity
Inner peace is gone you see
Fear and dread they love to bread
On your soul the deamons feed
Now in darkness the earth is turning
Ashes flames your dreams are burning

It's not a sad tale you find in a book
What's not been lost they came and took
Hanging on by a single thread
Knocked down drug out left for dead
There's now a cold stare with out a word
Tears in my eye the only thing heard
I know it's not a way to live
Knowing there's nothing left to give
On a road that goes nowhere
Broken down in need of repair
Under a strong and evil curse
I'm moving forward stuck in reverse
They say loves flame will never die
There are only so many tears you can cry
We've seen our share of ups and downs
Oh how quickly life can turn around.
Taken from me without a trace
As the tears continue to fall from my face
Life without you is a lonely place
