Dear reader, always remember that it takes far more effort to live peaceably and happily with those whom we live closely with than to achieve some "perfect" relationship with those with whom we do not live. The reason is quite simple and should be easily remedied if we apply ourselves to the task. Those whom we think we know but live not with seem perfect to us since we are unable to detect their flaws. If we should live near them or in the same dwelling with them for a brief time, how swiftly would those foibles be manifested to us and likewise ours to them.

Rather than find fault
Try making someone happy
Watch their face light up

Why does mankind deliberately evade true happiness? I have been pondering this baffling question for several years.
Why does mankind so often punish themselves and others by resorting to foolish and needless arguments?
God created man and woman in His own
image and although they fell in the garden of Eden, He sent His beloved Son Jesus to forgive them if they return to Him and are reborn through His mercy.
Why are we so downcast, dear readers? Can we not henceforth take our troubles to our Heavenly Father who loves us? He is a Mother to us as well.
If we are created in His beautiful image, why cannot we choose to create as He would wish us to? This might include writing of poetry or fiction; it may include sketching or painting or crafts of culinary arts, etc.
Do we choose to use whatever gifts He has showered upon us or to refuse them?

Seize each glad moment
Cherish it before it dies
Smold'ring in ashes

Turn back, O Hands of heedless Time!
When Life flowed gently day by day,
With no devices to outweigh
The golden melody sublime.
O! to regain those precious years;
A fortune I would swiftly give
If I perchance might gladly live'
Undaunted by these haunting fears.
Turn back! O Hands of cruel years
When Tranquility reigned supreme
And only Rapture wakened tears,
Life surreal flowing as a dream.
