I feel the overwhelming pain
the pain that I had once hid from light
resurface to haut me yet again

I feel alone, tired, helpless
but i know it'll just pass over once again

I may find a little light
my savior from all this grief
thinking maybe one day

november rain
brings so much pain
now that you're gone
the birds will sing a song
as you're welcomed to the light
we'll weep into the night
although it'll be sappy

i still search for the twinkle in your eye
knowing good and well i'll never find it
yet i keep searching through the void
but maybe one day

clumsy & dainty
vibrant & caring
just like a yellow dandelion
dancing in the wind
without a care in the world
until one day
you began to turn grey
& everything started to change
you were now
careful & rustic
dull & negligent
you acted like a burden
no longer cheerful
& dissatisfied with everything
what happened to that yellow dandelion
i once knew?
