The words I left unsaid, Now anchors in my chest, The things I should have read, Are finally at rest. I keep it to myself, A secret, locked and deep, A book upon the shelf, That no one else can keep.

The feelings that I keep, Like ghosts within a room, In shadows where they sleep, Safe from light and doom.

Locked Away

The feelings that I keep, Like ghosts within a room, In shadows where they sleep, Safe from light and doom.

I plant a tree inside a *** I water it each day, watch it grow in every way. I love it more than words can say. But as the days and years unfold, it stretches, strong and bold. The *** no longer fits its size, so I must let it reach the skies. I have to let it go, I have to let it grow.
