Canadian
I was born, who wasn't? My mother gave me away. I grew up in a barn, on a farm. I know cows, and dogs and cats... but prefer people. I want to have kids, but so far my only offspring are two short books of poetry. I'm Canadian. Sorry. ( that's a thing we do... apologize for everything...) Eh. I'm single, I'm a guy, I like women. Some women like me (but not in "that" way). I used to live on Vancouver Island, but now I'm in Ontario. Anything else you want to know? Oh.... my books? Google "The Roseman's Poetry and Musings". That's me.
Someone told me
I was someone
But I didn't get it.
Sure, I write
Google knows my name
I've been "published"
But it feels empty still.
What do I want?

Tell me you hate it,
Tell me you love it.
Tell me it made you laugh,
Tell me it made you cry.
That you threw my book out
That you couldn't put it down.
Something.
Anything.
I'm wondering, you know...
Am I good enough?
Will I be discovered?
Or am I full of hot air,
A childish,
Unprofessional
Hack.
I other words,
Am I a nobody, or
Someone?
