when I look up and stare
blanking out
because the clouds are so not fair
while the sailors seems to be coming my way
sailing away the battling seas
trying to stop the sinking that is about to happen
but they were not strong enough
strong enough to stop the storm
the storm that was hit by lighting
oh the seas
the oceans
the river
and the quavery streams
all seem to find there way
to my eyes
escaping the tears I hid for so long

We all stopped looking
stopped looking for the monsters
the monsters we saw in the movies
the monsters that we thought were going to get us
the ones we thought were real
they are real
they will get us
but they are not under the bed
nor are they in the closet
oh no
they are not hiding behind the curtains
they are hiding inside of us
so BEWARE

dealing with the same hell
just different devils
crying the same rain
just different clouds
feeling the same pain
just different falls
failing the same humanity
just different classes
we have the same lies
just different truths
same mind
just different body
same stars
just different universe
same start
just different ending
