Kenya The mind thinks when the heart is moved; / By love, hate, tragedy, and joy is the heart moved. / The hand writes what the mind has spoken; / And what the hand has written, the mind has ne'er forgotten!
I want you back. I want you back. By myself, it is so dark. I want you back. I want you back. To feel your warm pat on my back!

Abba!
when that spirit is low, and its will slackens when the clouds dye and the air blackens when hope harbored hastens its flight and takes with it all its light when every tear becomes unfounded and hearts with their pursuits get grounded then we might drown in our despair for it seems like the world doesn't care pull those strings no more we've strum them wildly before now what shall we do - Oh boy! we're dead remember that day, remember your kindred must he weep and beat his breast or must he also flee in haste but, alas, he is gone - putrefied so prithee boy, quickly decide!

prithee boy, quickly decide!
We cried when you were gone, And yet, you'd simply moved to your new home. We still wanted you: wanted you as our own. But quick was your departure: leaving us all alone.

Dad!
The mind thinks when the heart is moved; By love, hate, tragedy, and joy is the heart moved. The hand writes what the mind has spoken; And what the hand has written, the mind has ne'er forgotten!

hearts of poets!
Your departure, O sweet love Was the force that caused my heart to break And now, a blood-filled chest and broken ribs are all I have So I've sworn: love's journey ne'er to undertake!

the weight of a broken heart!
I am sure some have likened you to that princess whose personality astounded the world But to me, you are that deity who rules the moon and the innermost yearnings of men Would that I bid you be my charioteer! But from where did you hail? Who gendered you? Will I pay homage to thine ancestors? Can I offer them a sacrifice as a mortal? From where do they reign? Art they mightier than thee? Let them be ten times stronger, I shall still prefer thee! They say you lord it over the hunters and guide their steps on untrodden paths. Now I want to be a hunter and walk with you through every wild. Cypress trees are sacred to you; you must know that my hearth possesses countless buds. In Greece, they refer to you as Artemis. Why do they make you seem fairer? I have searched for a name of my own invention but failed miserably at the task; for which mortal dares name deities without bringing doom on himself? Apollo, they say, was your most favourite brother. I wish I was naught but he. For what joy would it have brought me to share your abode! I wonder why the wind doesn't pause when you smile! Mustn't the sun recoil in shame? Mustn't nature and all things therein cease to move at the mention of your name? Why did those mortals name you, Loy? I shall school them on how to spell 'joy' for the mere thought of you already produces joy in abundance. Can my tears be your tribute? They will flow at your command. Sweet words have already made their escape; stop them not! Will I break my bones in your honour, or will I simply write vain verse? What will become of me who dares befriend a deity, who seeks a natural bond with the unnatural? Do you discuss me in thy court? And will confidence save me, or will your dangerous lights strike me down? Answer me thou, O Diana!

The future we saw in the past Replays in a battle I thought I'd won It was better then: smiles at first And she's smiling still - as if we are one!

Dreaming backwards!
The writhing in your soul reminds you Of the complacency you now rue And the apathy of many a man Is the hard lesson you must quickly learn While you wallow endlessly in your sorrow Every other man looks forward to the morrow They move on; after careless words spoken They move on; leaving you heartbroken Sleepless nights of mental despair Remind you of the cruelty of human nature And your difficulty in waking Is the first sign that you're breaking

The smell of pain!
Frozen and lifeless is my heart's current state With a smile and a word, she attempts to resuscitate A regular beat slowly but surely returns And the love that's poured into my heart is everyman's

Pace my heart!
He waits for her with a beating heart Hope is all that prevails in his hearth If there’s a light as tender as this, Please, my love, give it an increase!
