Music can build you up, tear you down, reinvent your future and make you feel so wholeheartedly desperate that you just want to rip your heart out - now, every one interprets music differently- So...after you ripped it from your chest... What did you do, give it away? Or, burn it, so the temptation is gone?

Temptation
I lie here, alone, next to you My back to your wall, your back I wade through the intolerable amounts of sadness I cling to it- at least it is familiar If I don't strive for more, for better, I won't be let down I can't lose another piece, of my soul. There's no resolve left, I'm a shell Next to you, alone, I die here

"When you have given everything (As it appears to the onlooking eye) And in return you get sweet nothings whispered under the cover of night When these are the happenings, even when you keep yourself guarded When you had thought that protecting yourself was that easy When the wall you put up fell without putting up the slightest fight You realize there was no wall, there was only a shifty guard that crumbled at the slightest possibility of- Love

What they don't know Is that I cover up the pain with a fake glow of contentment And in their assumption Normalcy is expected
