Seas of anchors beneath the earth Take hold the dew of morning For truth givers and life bearers Hands stretched to the sky, demanding Freedom and peace and strength and serenity An understanding of things unknown Power purely born into existence From a single, simple seed

For the love of green things
Eenie meenie little souls How I wonder, be thou cold? Stay thee in thy secret spot Stripes of iron, cloth be naught See we nothing, hear no sound Sight omits thy tattered gowns May death be kinder? Death be quick? Yes. Death be gift by candlestick We’ll send thee bread of molded clay To save thee from thy wicked ways Of clashing blood and god and skin Inhuman made by ink of sin For church reveals the sacred spot Of heroes draped in thoughtless thought Of condemnation, fears and tricks And bearers of the candlestick

The Disadvantaged
Dare he reign Dare he not Take that aim That witch’s plot For gold asunder: The man’s domain For gold together: The Queens regain As karma shifts The world divides Take heed, my kin There will be trials But what’s a world Without a curse? Proceed this path You’ll know not else

A Simple Message
Arise, arise For their spite is their folly Arise, arise Clutch that burden of sight Arise, arise For the Queens become squally Take hold your own hand Stand tall for the fight Be willing Be bold Be strength Don’t fold Take flight Command Be brave Don’t land For the King and his men Will trample Descend “But FIGHT!” Said she. “We’ll win...” “...they’ll see.”

Battle Cry of the Woman
There once was a girl named Freedom But everyone called her “Happy” She danced through the color yellow And found rest in a field of daisies

Freedom
Be the ice in the wind And the wind in the trees And the dreams in the world And the world in the breeze Say the raven to the crow Be what raven he may be For the crow is to the raven What the raven is to me Be the might among the fallen Be the song within the leaves Rise above the earthen calling Be what river sings with thee Say the raven to the crow Be what raven he may be For the crow is to the raven What the raven is to me Be the eyes upon the scepter Be the sword upon the wings Be the hope among the people When they cannot trust their king Say the raven to the crow Be what raven he may be For the crow is to the raven What the raven is to me

Arise
Now I see where I went wrong. Beliefs I held were far from grace. My hand in lives became their fall, I crushed their pain with wanton lies. Ominous grace as judgement passed, My faith has become my one regret. My eyes were blind to the pain they felt, But now I see my hardened past. For who can love but God alone? The fruit I offered was far from gone. "Behold the righteous!  Behold her zeal!" My face was masked with haughty prayer. Behold the righteous?  Behold her zeal? I'm sorry, Lord.... I hurt your people.

I Hurt Your People (Romans 2:11)
Beyond the trees and hills of Madison The stone set still upon the earth. His body lay silent, lonely,  abandoned My heart beat desperately for lost memories.

The (un)Forgotten
I stood in vain as the stranger stood staring. Ashamed, I hid my stained white shirt. Who was this woman and why was she staring? Judgement pierced my sodden heart. Anger, disgust, jealousy and hate, All expressed upon her glaring face. How could she see those things I hid So well behind my masquerade?
