Christmas is a time for children Of Santa, sleighs and snow Of scented pines, hot mulled wines, Icy cold noses, cheeks aglow. Christmas is a time for family For news throughout the year Chinking toasts, sumptuous roasts Well wishes and good cheer. Christmas is a time for Baby Jesus Of Wise Kings, angels and stars An exhilarating night, the glorious sight Long before computers and cars. Christmas is a time for presents Of bright wrappings, ribbons and bows Of twinkling lights, breathless sights Candlelight, carols and pantomime shows. Christmas is a time for giving To spare a thought for the lonely and old A letter or gift, spirits that lift To be remembered, not left out in the cold. Christmas is a time for excitement Of waiting for Santa to show Milk and mince pies, delighted cries From the biggest kid I know!

Christmas
The blackbird trills with merry voice At the onset of the night Its melody piercing hazy murk Singing with glorious might. How impressive for one so small To out-sing the robin and the lark To call upon those thermal tides Coursing cross lane and hedge and park. Oh sweet, enchanting warbler Let your tune pierce every heart Your voice is the last, we hear at night And first....at the fresh day's start.

The Blackbird
I know not what drives my passion Nor what feeds my mind I cannot but be besotted By words of any kind. I have searched the corners of my heart From the deep south to the frozen north. I can draw no definite conclusions As the prose just utters forth.

Life is like a banana.... With its firm, sweet fruit inside But if you carelessly drop the skin... You're likely to take a slide. So this is the moral of the story..... To enjoy Life's little treat... Discard your peel in the nearest bin... And you'll stay upright on your feet!

Life is like a banana....
The only thing about me that's perfect.....are my imperfections!

Perfect [10w]
I want you to plunge right in me Feel your fingers yank my hair I want to see the hunger Of your heated, ravenous stare... I want to feel you moving Set a fiercely, lustful pace I want to sense the moment.... Your control has lost the race.... I want to embrace your body Grasp you tightly with my thigh I want to hear your rasping moan, Hear your deeply, sated sigh..... I want to hold you to me Feel your heat upon my skin I know your love's gone through me Purging demons...deep within.... I want to whisper 'I love you...' Caress that staggering beat I want you to know....you are my world I am unequivocally.......complete!

Intensity
You're the one .... Who makes me laugh..... rushing tingles down my spine Who puts me in my place Whose absence, makes me pine. You're the one.... Who makes me smile..... overwhelms me with good grace Who reaches deep within me makes me yearn for your embrace. You're the one.... Who makes me chuckle.... Who keeps me company throughout the night Who lingers selflessly by my side..... who disappears at first light. You're the one..... Who makes me giggle..... Who shows me that you care... Who's made me fall head over heels Who's caught me in his snare!

You're the one.....
Frosted windows hide clipped time tells bells ring alarms nurturing minds roll secure zones infringed needless insults hurled caution held in detention gleaming steel sullied silence, the loudest sound no more innocence blood on the playground...

Blood on the Playground
I will not look to the East for your coming, I will not search the ground for your trace, I will not gaze at the stars and wonder, When next I will feel your embrace. I will not turn my back on the sinking sun, I will not listen upon the scathing wind, I will no longer imagine your sweet tongue, My yearning has wearied and thinned. I will shut my ears to your melody, I will cram all thoughts from my head, I will cast my heart upon the surging tide, And pray that soon, I'll be dead. For I know that in this lifetime, I'll not find you, Though I searched this Earth, both far and wide, So I dream of a future embodiment, With you quintessentially by my side.

Enough
You crept into my mind when I wasn't looking you dashed across my Big Screen to catch my attention you lurked in my shadows scaring the wits out of me yet, when I turned to face you the emptiness swallowed me You pulsated through my veins only to ooze away through my pores you drifted in to my personal space and dissipated into the ether you stroked my aural rainbow then left before I could reciprocate yet, when I tried to catch up with you the emptiness swallowed me Your fingers run provocatively over my skin leaving nothing but goose-flesh your voice whispers in my dreams hinting at your all-embracing presence my cheeks burn with the lightness of your kiss as the hairs on my neck rise yet, the more I try to reach you only the emptiness swallows me I WILL take matters into my own hands you will tantalise me no more..... no more will you creep or drift into the peripheries of my existence! For I am coming to meet you face to face... tis only fleeting this bittersweet taste no longer elusive... I swallow the emptiness!
