Unbeknownest to the world We're all living our insanities within...

Dear little red hint across my cheek, The heart that you wish to, Is too difficult to please!

And you keep mistaking the silence for love, Dear heart, breathe, He isn't him anymore..

A beautiful silence, this, between us, It separates your existence from mine, I wonder where you are, While this song I write, And try and rhyme, What you say, what you do, And if ever you think of me, Your voice as natural as the heart’s beat, And your touch that rings through my spirit’s essence, Your laugh that holds what is most dear, And you exhale the breath that hath blew my hair, My finger adorns the ring you got, As that scarf tries to escape my neck, The one that on your counsel I bought, I can feel your hands entwined in mine, And breathe your neck, the smell of wine, When we did hug last, And your frame did kiss mine, The magic you cast when you looked into my eye, That moment I treasure and shall forever, And trade it for not any of its kind, I miss you too sudden, too much, As this silence between us grows, I wonder when next we shall meet, Or will we ever, who knows? But I will think of you all along, And you will play like nature’s song, In the haunts of my mind, body and soul, You be the beauty in the beholder’s eye, I behold, And for a minute, I will let go and stop, Searching for answers I’ve been long denied, And think of you and of you alone, And wonder what you’ve become while you’ve grown, And of what we had that September night, As I give in to this battle with the tears I fight, And love you while I can, As I miss us till we turn one again, And pray for you, for me, for us, So the highest powers would know, With time, even the love shall grow, Or at least in my heart I think it will, Till the sands of time bury the ache again…

Nothing of what was now remains Sweet have been the losses and the gains Losing inhibitions that for years have been A part of her, unknown and unseen What was black is now grey So much to tell but no words to say Conforming to all that nasty and nice Experience, most of all things, makes you wise Soft wrinkles on the carefree brow Love makes you stand low and bow A sweet friendship to it converts As it escalates the joy and heals what hurts In the past times, those have been Saw a girl growing out of her teen As fate would have it, cupid did strike This little damsel, a man she did like The two, over time, grew into one another Her lover seemed a father, son, friend and a brother Gentle and fierce, their passions blew And the bird to her cage, she flew Sharing food, eating out of each other’s hand Holding and caressing, as if in a no man’s land! Squealing as she saw her lover’s visage Another moment, tear stricken, affectations led by a mirage He had promised her not To either stay or even love her a lot Yet his hand held with her unflinching faith Poised she stood, with a woman’s grace And at last came, the dreaded time to leave He sat to smile, while she stood to grieve He wandered away into his unknown land Waiting, she spent her time counting sand He hasn’t returned, she’s still in a wait Hoping their roads cross, and merciful be fate By his memories she continues to exist That hand was his, the hand she had kissed Faltering ever, as her burden of hope weighs her down While those eyes in tears, continue to drown Back to where she began, fearing and insecure Will the wounds ever heal, she’s still not sure.

The rush of temperature up my cheek The impatient heart’s impatient beat The smiles for no reason This sudden feeling of wanting to please Makes me feel so unknown to me...

A small crush...
How each verse Rings through the mind Impregnates the thought And runs through lines?

How?
A nightly muse Of thoughts diffuse A thoughtless mind With thoughts unkind, A rhyme's plea Beckoning to be, A poet's mind Her words unbind, Far un sightly Pained and slightly Chaotic, inter-weaved Labyrinthine and unseamed... Her thoughts' stream, A labored possession Of loved recollections, An urging tempt To write unkempt And sing untamed Before the morrow Bury thy sorrow, In paper clean Ink, ink blots Joining scattered dots Of unleashed thoughts Across paper lays Her scattered brain All efforts vain Seeming to be Before trauma passes Brought back sane Weighing her losses Weighing her gains Poetic muse, that Worded rather well Like some stranger She hath read That signed below Name familiar so It dawned upon This lady, wrong Whenever did she Write that song? Which hers is Now to call 'Tis dawn's dew Awakening a new Knowing of self Last night's fire Burned through those Sheets of tire Sudden smiles befriend An unknowing visage That must be That must be That is me Spoke her mirage... -Aayushi

Love's Labor
At a gun's glance Said he Let me **** you first And then me The gun laughed At the lovers' plight An only winner... In eye's sight Alternate ending- That beast's might

When you'd take leave I thought I'd grieve But it has now dawned Now that you're gone That it is all but the same And that change changes change In leaving you’ve left Me, space for another As for his arrival I’m caught in a wait The wait That eternal seeming dictation of fate…
