An endless sea,
sailing ships—
which to board?
Some sail to fortune,
some drift to storm.
I wait by the shore,
watching sails pass by.

The wind moves me,
the storm pushes me,
the waves carry me
through an endless sea.
I would adjust my sails,
but I know no shore.

Sailing the endless sea,
Each day the same,
I was never free.
A storm passes by
The sea turned black,
Waves consume me.
A gale so strong
It lifts me high,
And still, I fly

Taking wrong ways,
That crumbled midway.
I joined a rally,
They felt sure of the way.
A place reached,
Few faces grew bright.
Not felt right I resumed
Seen some doing same
Some stayed behind -
Faces dim
Will I reach it
Before my ride gives away?
