No father could ask for A son so bright I can't promise you a perfect example Afraid of what I may inspire But with me here at least there is hope A glimmer of light for the next generation Starts with you wanting to learn The best defense for life is to learn Never be afraid to let your gift shine bright Don't expect to fit in with your generation But do expect to lead them by example Understand that you are part of what is left of hope You were born to inspire Seek out how you will inspire In the allotted time knowledge is yours to learn Time alloted is prolonged we hope Because your future is bright Turn those that doubt you into examples Let positive thoughts come into generation Pray for your generation Appreciate those you inspire Dont let the system make you an example Ignorance does not uphold in the court of law so you must learn Jail is not for the bright and dims hope No matter the situation never be deserted by hope Always keep in mind A new generation Never let skin complexion twist your judgment to whats wrong isn't bright Burry your eyes in archives Black Egyptians will inspire Our proper history you will learn It is then you dont expect but begin to lead by example Like Malcolm X or Dr. King for example Someone has to rekindle the hope History teaches but we didnt learn As for your generation Hopefully something will inspire Something with a soul, something real, something bright...

A New Hope
You know you have good bud when finger tips are sticky No seeds Stems bend not break Dank aroma sparks desire to elevate Roll Burn Puff Laugh THC makes me lazy Left sober with nothing to eat Mom yells beacause an empty plate is left from what was eaten A fork and syrup remain where flapjacks once layed Lips sticky A flying saucer lands on carpet Ants investigate because I am lazy Brain stimulation allows for barriers to be broken Stress lives on the first floor but on A roof dwells laughs So often I catch an elevator Only mellow tunes can be heard on this elevator Food for thought is french rolled not eaten Worries drowned out from laughter Now no situation seems too sticky Ambition for new ideas can't be broken At these heights interest has home field advantage over laziness Nothing good ever comes to the lazy Full potential could never elevate Bad habits leave you broke If you don't work you don't eat Situations become sticky When it's back to the first floor where presense is absence of laughter Only to keep from crying do I laugh No longer high I mope around lazily Mouth salivating for something rank and sticky No alternatives for an out of order elevator Kitchen cabinets bear nothing to eat I am broke But my spirits never broken Sadly I watch other people laugh Watch other people eat Who's is really to blame for being lazy? Stairwells are alternatives for elevators There's nothing like being high on life Less sticky

Clouded Mind
Finally we have arrived Finally because this is the end of the road Not for me or you But for us We have starved happiness and the weight of hurt has finally tipped our scale Things we've said and done to one another No way we can take them back If actions really speak louder than words The universe has watched us loud and clear We told it we didn't know what to do where to go or how to deal It sent council through friends family sometimes enemies This moment proves that we weren't listening The universe has taken action yet again But no love lost only redirected I wont deny my faults because growth breeds acceptance The universe has a strange way of writing its story Everything that happens was meant to happen and was going to happen because it happened As far as the universe is concerned I dont understand much But I do understand Everything exist because it maintains balance And I'm sure balance would be beautiful If we as humans could find it.....
