hibernal
my thoughts scattered like chaff in the wind dandelion seeds in a spring breeze when you first spoke to me "deep in thought, are you?" you ask, smiling the cafe was suddenly so loud your eyes so bright life so vibrant i smile back, nervously hesitate (is this happening!?) then "you caught me lost in the urban sprawl of my mind it's nice to meet you, i'm sean" but before we could touch you disappeared down a side street lit by neon signs; red, pink, blue and i realized you were just my fantasy a desire, too good to be true

Neon Lights
I'm a match You're the fuel Friction A lick of flame The kiss of desire We burn in pain as I light you afire Ashes remain Never should you mix Fire and gasoline

Love on Fire
Dim light Dark eyes Intoxication Never did my heart feel as light As the glimmer in your eyes Intoxicated

Dark Eyes
Among the skies the Eagle soars The tundra where the lion roars Within the sea, the dolphin dwells I look for beauty there The azure blue and setting sun Lit by stars and glowing moon A masterpiece Rivaled only by you Fields of gold Where the wild things roam No place wild as such Except the fire in your eyes An expanse of blue and emerald greens In which those who dwell swim free But none as free As your wandering soul Among the skies you let me soar The tundra where I triumphantly roar Within the sea, I freely dwell I’ve found your beauty there

To _________
If you asked me what I saw That night that I saw you I’d say I saw the setting sun Above the ocean blue I saw the sky begin to fade As darkness took its hold The stars above began to watch Their gaze, a shimmering gold I saw a star fall from the sky A burning ray of light It held within a beauty fair Your beauty shining bright I then beheld your forest eyes The sage and emerald green I saw inside a lawless sight Within, you are the Queen The wind, I heard it speak your name The breeze, it told your tale It whispered softly of your charm Your skin, so soft, so pale The birds above, they sing your song They fly without a care Above the clouds, you’re free to fly You soar on wings of air Down within the ocean deep You swim among the fish Alone, they give you one last chance You’re granted one last wish You wish to live your life in peace A happy girl to be You wish to find the one you love If only you could see But little did you really know That standing by your side Was one who’d give his life for you In him you could confide If you ever go away I’ll lose my only love Although I’m patient, you will see For you, I’ll look above From Dawn to Dusk, I’ll wait for you In hope that you return Though we may never meet again For you, my love will burn

One Last Wish
Among the stars, above the sky I saw your beauty there I reached my hand out just to try To touch your beauty fair The stars were shining on your face The moonlight as your clothes I stood up, began to chase My heart sped up, began to race You disappeared without a trace And I was left alone Looking up, I thought I saw A star fall from the sky A golden spark, unbound by law A fire that’d never die I watched as you fell to the ground An angel sent from God I heard my heart begin to pound I looked and looked and looked around But you were nowhere to be found I finally gave up hope To my knees I fell to cry Upon the rocky ground From behind I heard a sigh A soft and saddened sound I turned around, turned to see A shadow in the night I looked at you, you looked at me You’d be the one to set me free I felt like we were meant to be Up until you left Chasing you into the night I followed where you went I wouldn’t let you leave my sight I’d not go down without a fight ‘Cause being with you, it felt so right I’d never let you go As the sun began to rise You stumbled to a stop You turned to look into my eyes My gaze I wouldn’t drop I watched you as a golden ray Of sunlight hit your face Then you spoke, began to say Today, right now, would be the day You would no longer go away I’d hold you in my arms Time has passed and so have you This memory lingers on The words I spoke to you were true I loved you then, and still I do Dear reader, I bid you adieu I go back to meet my love.
