Sung to the moon,
A story of woe,
Full of wonder, love, and death,
A tale of a human,
Spun from the mind of an animal,


Days grew shorter,
Nights became longer,
Fears became unearthed,
Transformation,
 A powerful tale,
A loner,
Away from a pack,
Predator yet prey,

Crazy in the eyes of the night,
It howls its story to the moon,
Hoping for redemption,
 The stars twinkle merrily,
While the moon never listens,
