Life, love, and happiness all these things I had before today Now I go on knowing of the darkness For the sake of families in the grey. Bloodshed, war, and sorrow A ****** plain filled with bones Uncertain of a future or a tomorrow Fighting in a field of sticks and stones. All that I have is a gun and a blade Against opposition twice our size Bodies buried in masquerades  Husbands dead without a goodbye. If ever I make it back I would carry a lifelong scar A part of my dreams turn to pitch black While I live a life after the war.

Life after the war
When you are with me I would make kings and queens kneel For you I would part the seas And make  mountains fall to your heel. I ask not of you money nor will I ask for sacrifice Because you alone are sweet as honey And that alone will suffice. I may not know much about romance nor how to make a girl mine but I shall stand up with guidance To make you mine and mine alone.

F A T E
Trees everywhere i look The flowing stream is all I hear A scene out of a story book All that is missing is you right here. Walking on the gravel path Chirping birds like wind chimes Takes my sense away from life's wrath And to nature's intimate sets of rhyme. With the sun in my eyes at dawn And the moon and stars at dusk Diversity in flora and fauna The scent of nature's calming musk. Then back to reality I go Knowing that I had good self-talk Hoping to go back to nature's toe And once again go on a nature walk.

Nature walk
As time flew by with such haste All those memories, gone without a trace All of those efforts went to waste All that was left was an unfinished phrase No more going back to those times Where we laughed, cried, and shared this pain All that is left is this poem of rhymes With hints of ink stains

Yesterday can’t stay
There are many kinds of people Those whose optimism colors the whole world like a masterpiece Those whose pessimism clouds blacker than a car heavily tinted Those who are only pedestals to the true stars People who were born as the gold in the pile of steel And those born tarnished but can still glimmer like the shiniest alloy But in all those kinds of entities we all share similar qualities And thats what makes us a unique mosaic

The kinds of people
Two hundred and five people Two hundred and five chances those glances i got from them vast like forest But those pristine eyes caught me by surprise Seven-hundred and thirty days Of  talking to you and yearning with myself In the times of early May or July I was just with you in a room of our friends Yeah the time of the clean slates sure does fly Twenty nine classmates I knew by heart Twenty nine new moments of fun But when this all ends only one stays in this field of grass The girl whom is the pedestal of the statue of us

Two hundred and five
The eyes to see the truth Very much but rarely seen In all even youth The ears to hear God Are very unique to mankind Though it may seem odd The feet to spread good news To the men who are in doubt Hope they bid adieu The mouth built to preach The salvation and the hope To those they can reach

Body of truth
the four coners of me and you stuck, dreary in this ruse those moments I bid adieu to the one i call my muse the four corners of life a life of black and white I desire your spirit feeling alive A healing of life's blight As life starts to get dire I will keep you protected From the inferno's fires I'll keep you feeling elevated To my inspiration The one who gave me direction

the four corners
A face of gold A brain thats vast A story untold A life with you at last My wish and desire Is your affection and love I hope that our love burns like fire With divine intervention from up above But if God forbids this sacrilege I will be okay with this decision I will honor this sacrament In spite of its emotion But i truly hope for your approval Though my actions seem futile

A sonnet about you
It flows through seamlessly A being that doesn't target aimlessly A knife that aim fatally It aims for a person's naivety A person who acts tough Will never get enough A person who's acts a bluff Will end up in handcuffs As the tides shift It sets the person afflicted adrift Closer and closer to the rift A feeling of being utterly stiff
