Last week I read
A sign that said
"Empathy's dead"
And those words kept
Humming in my head
Could this be true?
Have we derailed this
Badly as a society?
I suppose we're at
A crossroads where
We can still change
For the better
Or maybe that's the kind
Of foolish stuff that
I like to believe
