Every morning, getting out of bed is the worst,
But every morning my phone vibrates.
And it's because
Everyday you message me
Like it has been your daily routine
To impress me, to make me laugh
To show me what a true friend you are,
But to me, you're more than just a friend,
You're the one I love, you're the one I want to waste time with
You're the one that makes want to get out of bed and be productive.
But I can't let you see it,
Because someone else loves you,
And the one that loves you is my friend too.
He kept on talking about you, made so much effort just for you,
Almost got in trouble just to be with you.
And me? What did I even do to deserve you?
But make you smile.
Still, you find time to message me, call me, and tease me.

When everything I felt dearly, just became my worst nightmare.
When everything I held dearly, became the last thing I ever needed.
How did it ever come to this?

While walking down to dance with you,
under the crystal Chandelier,
with every working bone I have left,
just to waltz, and hold your unchained hands.
Your eyes glisten like never before,
the music stopped, like the whole world did the same,
unforgettable ,yes yes it is.
I saw it in your perfect smile,
a smile that I've been yearning to see.
As we sat back to our seats,
across my sights I saw
a thing that has already been noticed,
as painful as it might be, regardless of how much I knew,
I just wanted to know, where did I go wrong?
Maybe It was my fault, maybe it was me all along,
and I'm just too stupid to follow the same mistake again.
I don't want you to go, I don't want you to let me go,
I wanted to tell you, but I can't,
I wanted to let you know, but I can't,

I am sorry.
I am sorry for being a bother
I am sorry for being unreliable
I am sorry for not being the friend that you needed,
for not being the guy who's always there for you.
I was so insensitive back then, and I didn't realize
that I was mentally hurting you.
It made me cry for days. I missed the times we speak, we laugh,
we touch.
You held my heart, and I thought you were the one, but you dropped it and never came back because of the stupid things I did.
I learned from the stupid mistakes I made
and saw a new life, a more significant life.
You helped me opened my eyes to a new reality that changed the future of my past self.
I am grateful, I truly am.
Words cannot describe how happy I was.

A butterfly once told me "how was your day?"
I said "It's great, what can I say?"
The second butterfly then said to me,
"How wonderful, your face is with glee"
The third butterfly uttered,
"I see, you can easily be flattered"
I say it's it just me, there's nothing to worry,
Then the decaying butterfly shouted with fury.
"YOU ARE A LIAR, NOTHING BUT A CHEAT,
YOU TEND TO SMILE WHEN YOU CAN'T EVEN TAKE A BEAT."
I said "It's true, it hurts, but I'll let it subside,
even when the one you love, plays you, deep inside."
There's a deeper meaning to this poem,
but this is just my feelings, the one I have shown.
