Diabolical and beautiful
You stalk me from the overgrowth
Slithering straight into my life
Poison fangs concealed
Can you hear my every breath
Can you feel my beating heart
Or are you too concerned with
Bringing them to a halt
You coil around my throat
Choking my finals breaths
Teeth sink into my skin
Venom taking me down,

down,
drop.

Warm bodies and warmer souls
Hands connect our hearts of gold
Embers flake from off our skin
I raise my arm and let you spin
The ember sets and sparks ignite
Lighting up our passioned night
Head to chest, mind to soul
We’ll dance until we’re set in coal
Fires blazing in our eyes
Thought lowest lows and highest highs
