If your mind is open to the possibility
that the sun rises when you need it to,
Then everything will be alright.
Just close your eyes and count the sheep,
Dream, dream, carried in deep sleep-
Until you wake to sunlight.
The sound you hear; [pause]
is the chorus of 30,000 sunrises-
This is the average human life
but yours is more spectacular.
--
The humming in your ear
is the hosanna in the highest!
This is the cosmic heartbeat
of the universe and beyond.

Amazing Grace
how sweet the sound.
Sugar water
for me to drown.
Sugar water,
A blessed sound!
The doctor says,
"This is not good".
But when it's your food
what should you do?
I'd sooner starve
than be without
that heavenly,
That sweet sweet sound.
The angel choirs
all sing aloud-
Their voices together
can move the clouds,
That hang over me
like deaths dark shroud.
They say God
is hard to please,
But all I need
is the sweet release.
That fruit first plucked
from the knowledge tree,
Pressed now into
liquid sweet.
Out of the eater came something to eat.
Out of the strong, something sweet.
Amazing Grace
how sweet the sound.
My pulse falls slow,
And hits the ground.

A lonely man needs somebody to love,
But he's too brittle.
So broken that when he falls,
All the kings horses
and all the kings men,
Couldn't put him together again.
An angry man needs someone to confide in,
But he's to fickle
To choose a kind face.
Rapunzel, Rapunzel
let down your long hair,
Please save him from despair.

Out of the corner of your eye
You spot the hesitancy.
That moments pause;
Brief
In an eternity.
And you wished you had looked away.
But-
it's too late now.
That curious eye you have,
The ability to see and feel,
(that which cannot be seen or felt)
They've let you down.
It would be better if you had been blinded,
(by the Sun, not illness).
"...if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee"

(Hypnos- God of Sleep
Eros- God of Love
Nyx- Goddess of Night)
ME:
I closed my eyes
And met 3 strangers
Whose names I knew but,
Could not express.
They stood with grace and prowess,
Each one grander than the next.
They petitioned me to ask them,
Anything at all,
So I asked them about dreams,
Given to us by gods.
HYPNOS:
A weak internal monologue,
Lapsing into night.
They sleep and breathe
So slowly,
They sleep; and breathe so deep.
EROS:
Their dreams I clouded,
Tinged, with crimson haze.
They long for one another,
They long;
To find each other.
NYX:
The dream ends now!
As my darkness overwhelms.
They no longer need to think,
They drink;
As to forget.
ME:
Pretence keeps up my dreaming,
Innerspeaker of my thoughts,
Past tense reveals it all:
Groundskeeper
To my soul.
An arrow from your quivers
Surely would do the job,
Of a thousand
Quarts of liqour
Or novocaine, or god.
NYX:
When you see light
You will see clearly,
The truth of misery.
Though I know nothing of such light,
The darkness lives in me.
EROS:
Soon your day will come,
To feel as all the rest.
The burning fire of passion,
Bellowing wild,
A fire without smoke.
HYPNOS:
And now as you awake,
Arise! Dear sir, go forth,
Knowing of what you learned,
In this episode,
This dream.

Your pupils dilate when you daydream of me,
I'm the focus of your erratic emotions.
Big birds and sharks circle below and above,
I'm your very own psychotropical ocean.
Goddesses weep that they'll never have me,
I'm the desire of all women and menfolk.
You're just a drop in my nicotine sea,
I'm your Revelator, forever and amen.
I open the book with seven tight seals,
Peter man's the gate to a white scale paradise.
A place for us who can heal the sick and lame,
You darling dear will know nothing of this.
My eyes full of water I struggled to see,
The physical signs of repeated emotion.
They opened my skull so they could finally see,
The darkness inside that caused all the commotion.
Mother boiled water and she made me some tea,
The darkened swirls combined with the clear water.
She mixed it then with some sweet honey,
Made me promise you'd never be her daughter.
Your pupils dilate when you daydream of me,
I'm the focus of your erratic emotions.
Big birds and sharks circle below and above,
I'm your very own psychotropical ocean.

Skip,
The heart stops momentarily.
A moment's peace not to feel,
Not to breathe.
In that time
everything is right.
No worry,
No pain,
Nothing you do is in vain.
But,
The heart starts back up again.
Flooded veins surge back,
Full of emotions.
In that instance
the chaos ensues.
Why me,
What if,
Nothing stifles the itch.

"I've fallen in love,
And her philosophy is divine" he said.
"Her words, they cascade.
From her mouth- enchanting like surf on the sea.
Her views expressed with anguish and creativity."
I told him to run away.
"She's just well spoken, well versed".
But he only cursed me,
And his heart became hardened.
She had divided,
She had decided,
On his behalf.
He was a sacrifice, and she had to eat .

"I've fallen in love,
And she's so beautiful I could die", he said.
"Her hair, it flows.
As much as a pixie cut can flow.
Her eyes, they glow.
As much as the gates of heaven can."
I told him to look away.
"Love is a child's game. Don't be a fool".
But he was a ****** fool,
And his heart was set upon her.
Finding,
Dining her.
After all,
She was a delicacy, and he had to eat.

She turns to look at me.
Wide eyed,
Me- beguiled.
My anxiety begins to fade away into the unknown,
A desert, sands,
Both together and alone.
Thinking to myself;
"How lonely,
How lovely".
Though many have heard, so few have seen.
The fairytales and stories,
The endless signs and warnings,
"Don't get too close" they say.
But I don't care,
I'm not even aware enough to care.
Isaac worked 14 years for Rebecca.
But I would work 14 and 7 more,
And 7 years again if my god so desired,
Just to catch a glimpse,
To witness.
