The lips that once spilled kisses on me Are now pressed shut when they see me. The lips that once sang my praises Now wish me dead. I ought to believe that love turns quietly. I am like a drop of rain That fell upon the soil and disappeared. Man is cruel— He made love a punishment. For once, you find love as a muse, eternal, Something you could yearn forever, Yet die carrying the same desire. Even when your mind no longer wants it, Your soul still needs it, Still aches for it.

After love
I never noticed brown the way I did that night. The brown coat upon your shoulders, The brown tie kissed with diamonds I scarcely recall, The brown boots that stole my gaze, And finally, your brown eyes— The place I'd gladly lose myself in, Never wishing to find the way back.

Brown
I won't say, "I'll love you forever," Because a mortal cannot promise love through eternity. But I'll say, "I'll love you always," Because a mortal can promise love until death.

Always
Maybe I Do He thinks I will love him for eternity. Oh, wait— Maybe I will. I never realised that I love him until he asked. That moment was ephemeral, but it made me understand my emotions. When he is not here, yet I talk with him for hours and hours; but when he is beside me, asking my favourite dessert, I do not dare to lift my eyes. And yes, he thinks that I love him. And maybe I do.
