Two strangers met briefly, Eyes wide, in the limelight. Speaking without speaking, Heaving, tongues tied. And for a second, Their dreams laid bare. Just for a second, Still unaware. That what they shared, Right then and there. Would turn seconds to years, Heavy breaths to fresh air. That they'd feed each other visions, And love despite despair. Weave their own traditions, No other could impair. Two strangers lay sweetly, Eyes wide, under the night sky. Speaking without speaking, Breathing, tongues tied.

Two strangers
shivering, aching, bleeding words, slivering, breaking, realisation hurts. times i've missed, cut off tongues. air as catalyst, vacant lungs.
