I'm in love with two people, The light and the dark. He carries me onward, The other's a spark. We dance in the twilight, Entwined and free. The choice beckons closer, It falls onto me. Indecisve and frightful, I struggle to choose. How do you count gains, When you'll inevitably lose?

When a literal mind Simply leaves you blind All I want to do Is be treated in kind But you struggle to see What it means to be me Ignore the label And let me be free I don't need no sympathy I'm a puzzle piece

The truth is you petrify me. When I think of you, A manic smile lights up my face. A grin of terror. Please do not be disheartened. For I do love you. But I have felt this way before, It didn't end well. I push myself to be able, to show I trust you. To open up, share my secrets, dark and daunting. You are the sun personified, shining beyond you. I am moonlight, mysterious Glowing in the dark You warm my heart with your smile Just know I love you. My smile may contain a flicker But it's stong and true.

Me.

I am me. So simple to understand, too complex to comprehend. Colourful and bright, yet also dark and dull. Me. Socially inept, Confident and calm. Happy and carefree, paranoid and shy. I may not seem positive, but I am strong. No matter what life throws at me, I am sure to carry on

Love is like a fire. When it starts, it starts with a spark, Then the friction builds up into passionate heat. It's released with flames, until it reaches up and warms the heart. If not given careful care and affection, It disappears into ashes. But if tended to correctly, It slows to an ember that burns forever.

If not given careful care and affection, It disappears into ashes. But if tended to correctly, It slows to an ember that burns forever.

From the moment I met you, I loved you. I just didn't know it yet. I yearned, in denial, to be near you. To catch a glimpse of your smile, Cradle your laugh in my abstract mind. A foreign drug I'll never forget. Then, the explosion of passion, intense. A release I'd never known. Crash from one place to the next, electric. The sparks your fingers trailed, Still resonate through my head daily. The roots have planted, the love has grown.
