24/F/Durham I like to share my stories and thoughts from the heart of fig tree thats full of sorrows. Youre never alone 3
Gliding my finger over the cracked kitchen tile Kettle, king of limescale Waiting and forgetting One foot in-front of the other Travel like a skipping rock The back of my neck burning Singeing hairs of fever Fluttering spine cremating ashes spilling out of my ears. It’s a citrus sun on a winter day Frosted fence melting away in an animated motion, Like butter over a pan Bubbles on a thorn bush.

Long like December into January
I will weave a web in the rain Drops like pearls in the moonlight Threaded green bag over my head Fill it with water Watch it expand until it bursts Head like a thistle Swaying Catcalled by the wind Soaked sleeves Wallowing with the wisps Inhale and hold

Twilight
Paint peeling from the window sill Long legged lady walking, In such a way All frail like a mouse without its tail She wishes not that of a picket fence But that of lattice. So that each time she gazes out Into her garden She is reminded of bramble pie Seeing her mothers eyes Who’s spirit lies in oak Samaras floating down into her hair Twirling the whirligig between her fingers Trailing with gentle fingers The mid ribs of little sprites wings

Breeze
Frostbitten fingertips, Buttoning up my coat, Echoing footsteps through the hollow bus station. Grey clouds spitting rain, Distant fog. Hearing sniffles from people walking by. Subtle coughs Overgrown alleyways Gloomy Sundays.

Sunday
I still loved you, But stopped hoping. Raindrops racing down the windows, Condensed. Igniting candles, Wax dripping onto the sill. Light growing dim. Reminiscing, Blueberry picking Fresh smell of pine. Purple fingers, I saw you. But you did not see me. You never saw me.

Blueberry picking
How long did I love you out of habit I am the knife and the wound, As I am the fire and the fuel. Sunflowers weltering, Not throwing them away, Savouring petals resembling breaking relationships, But not letting go.

Bad Habit
It’s the piece of loose skin on the edge of your thumb The eyelash that gets stuck in your eye The rock in your shoe The sock sliding down your sole The runny nose that won’t stop running The first sip of tea that burns your tongue The hair in your mouth you can’t locate The piece of apple that won’t come out from the gap between your teeth

She told me she's falling in love but i only see her falling                                    She whispered in my ear,                                            "I'll hang off the rope                                                           he made for me."    He told me,        "She holds onto the chain                         around my ankle." In their dreams they exchanged,                "To you, i'm the artery,                                  that pumps blood                                             through your heart."
