my mother calls me a devil
but ive never known a devil not able
to lie
even when my hands fall off
and the shedding skin makes me cry
so ill sit at my conviction
left hand raised to the sky
to the jury to the Lord
my words bleeding and i
turn to the face
of my Father before me
harsh words form holes
in my palms, imploring
for a verdict, an urge
that would never be able to satisfy
my burning throat
clawing for the fruit, till I die

you see me in the distance
i am wearing a yellow crown
you’re sat a top a hill
as the snow tumbles down
i’m screaming in the shadows
of that rusty old park
until my head falls off
and the scene goes dark

I looked over at the moon,
Saw your reflection twinkling there.
A half empty glass
And the wind dancing in your hair.
Laid on my back,
Beside the graveyard.
A hand reaching out,
Though we could never run far.
The priest says you cast a spell.
Kept secrets you never dared share.
But, I could always figure them out,
Half the puzzle already came prepared.
Lipstick smudged on your head stone,
Flowers rotting on the ground.
The book of love ends awfully,
Thank God He’s not around.

And as the logs crumbled, and the last flame fell,
All that was left was the suffocating smell
Of ash, and decaying wood.

I can feel the ridges of your finger tips
And I wish I could rip through the skin
But then we’ll all drown into an abyss
Of crimson slimy liquid
I can feel your collarbones
I wish I could remove all your clothes
For everything get’s in the way
The greatest barrier of love,
The body

“…and i could write
i could write so good and well
scary ghost stories
and the voices that made you yell
whispers in the scary dark
makes you wanna scream
fogginess in the park
a nightmare-ish dream”

In a few years,
we’ll all turn cold.
A chill down your back,
the breeze grows old.
And there’s a light,
that freezes the storm.
That rounds the voices
end up warm.
Blanket of comfort,
a soft green bed.
Below the frost,
lay down your head.

you saw the earth hidden beneath
hidden with
the fallen leaves
so wrap my body
with
pink ribbons
as i say sorry
for polluting the soil
i was born in

before the sun explodes
on the sky line
can you
look in my eyes,
and tell me
your middle name.
and before the stars collapse
in the prairies
can you
dance with me,
give me
some peace of mind.

Tell me about your painting
how it adorns your skin,
call it art,
as your flesh rips apart,
the blood soon sinks in.
Tell me about the constellations,
about the ripples in the waves.
Let my finger trace your arms
gently,
guiding through the stars
as you turn your face away.
Let the night be one,
together we can be as dark as the setting sun.
Let me kiss my lips, to your scars
memories flow jaggedly, afar.
