33/F/Connecticut Mother, lover of the arts and poetry. Currently residing in Waterford, Connecticut. I love writing about mortality, ancestry, and spiritual wonder.
You draw me close as dusk invites the stars, Unhurried, sure, the dark within your reach. My pulse falls still beneath your measured pause, And learns the truth your quiet fingers teach. Each touch refines the wanting in my skin, Desire slowed until it learns its name. The room grows dense with all we hold within, Anticipation feeding every flame. I feel you less as motion than as will, A gathered tide that knows when not to break. My breath betrays me when the night grows still, And bends to every promise that you make. So take me where our separate rhythms end, By mutual surrender, not demand. ©️EarthBranch

Anticipation
Love—arrived without announcement— As if it had been waiting Just beyond the Hour I finally grew still— It carried no Banner—no Proof— Only a soft rearranging Of Silence—until my Name Sounded different—spoken— Time—behaved—uncertain— Moments—paused mid-breath— Eternity—leaned closer— To hear us not explain— I know it is Love—because Nothing asks to be louder— The Heart—keeps its own Counsel— And calls that Staying—Joy— ©️EarthBranch

What the Heart Calls Joy
Down, down where the water holds its breath, where names were loosened from the mouth of the world. Down, down iron clinks without sound, chains learning the slow language of rust and time. Stand still, they say. Stand long. Let the sea finish its sentence. One hand lifts. Not begging. Not broken. Pointing toward the memory of light. Sun shards fall, fall, fall, cutting the dark into gold, beating a rhythm on shoulders, on scars, on bone. These are not statues. These are bodies keeping time. Heart after heart after heart waiting for the tide to answer. The sea hums low. The past hums lower. Nothing is lost here, only held. Listen. The chains do not sing alone. The water does not forget the beat. They rise without moving, they speak without sound, they walk the future forward from the floor of the ocean. Down, down, and still— the rhythm lives. ©️EarthBranch

What the Seas Remember
I inhale the galaxy, fingers tracing rings of Saturn in the haze. Smoke swirls like comets, dancing in the vacuum of my chest. The moon hums in careless whispers, and I orbit thoughts I’ve never named. Stars pulse in the rhythm of my heartbeat, each exhale a nebula expanding slow. Time bends like smoke in the air, minutes folding into constellations. I ride the Milky Way in a cloud of my own making, lost and found in the infinite high. ©️EarthBranch

Stardust in my Lungs
Come nearer. Not together. The water still knows your weight. You who crossed without record, without witness, with a life turning inside you, insistent as pulse. You who trained your body to become a threshold, a gate terror could not fully breach. We speak without names because they were stripped, because breath was tallied, not syllables. You carried tomorrow through salt and dark, through hours that refused land, through seas that would not answer. If you sang, the water stored it. If you wept, it thickened into tide. If fear came, you held. We stand where you arrived with nothing but survival. Our mouths keep language because yours bore silence. Stay, if you choose. Go, if you must. We will not chain you to memory. But know this: every child still breathing, every daughter still standing, every woman who dares softness speaks you without sound. ©️EarthBranch

For the Unnamed Mothers
Seductively awestruck. Aligned colorful chakras. A cosmic creation. Third eye realizations. Calm, collective, and cool. Reveal the sensual parts of you. Peace is the only thing I seek. Protecting my many energies. Sage the negativity away. Seize the adventure in every day. Accept that life can be messy and hard. Embrace the beautiful soul that you are.

Cosmic Creation
You did me wrong, so I had to walk away. Lies, guilt, and revenge plagued my mind every day. In my heart you are dead to me. But my body feels things differently. The way you dominated my very being, on the bed ******** left me bleeding. I enjoy you wanting to get in deep, hands on my throat thrusting heavily. We did it everywhere, there was no shame. In the car, cemeteries, all love no pain. My body tingles cause it's you I crave. I'm glad I walked away, yet my heart still aches. It's hard watching something beautiful like us end. But I refuse to be manipulated by you again.

Crave
Penetrated through my skin. Releasing all this pain within. Embedded deep with blood ran red. Tired of all these tears I shed. Bring on the stinging, take on the harm. You really didn't think my silence was an alarm? Now to sit here and watch me bleed. Lacking the love and support I desperately need. I am no hero, throw away my cape. I'm a victim of selfishness, lies, and **** Sitting in this corner feeling so much shame. I did this to myself. I'm the one to blame.

Thunder
Powerful parts of the heavenly Divine. Legacies created and frozen in time. Hatshepsut, Cleopatra, Nefertari and more. Destroyed all barriers, opened all doors. Rest with the honorable deep in death. Buried in prosperity along with the best. Writings on the wall revealed to be seen. All hail Egypt's unforgettable queens.
