I am grabbing at light
Collapsing in on myself, sinking further into an endless night.

I would have pulled you closer, and stolen a kiss.
To kiss you: passionately, as if I'd never see you again.
Yet, my restraint was in vain, and stroke amiss.
For I've only become more entangled, without your silken nectar dancing across lips.

My mothers love I never knew.
Her affection was cold and pale blue.
My thorny heart was born to sin.
In creek water, I'm born again.
A pack of joes, a fith of gin,
I follow ghosts of what could've been.
Ive seen the sun pass through the. moon
In every town, I start again.
