Your eyes are open to the rest of the world, Seeing all that await you.
You see the passing of time but blink, unaware that you miss the best moment. You finish looking at the world behind the glass and find it stained black and colorless. You now know that the grey world behind the glass was a lie and you found the truth. Was it worth breaking out of your cage? Or would go back to looking through your colorful glass?

I wish things weren't different.
I wish things stayed the same.
But life have ways of changing.
None of them good in any way.
I know I'm broken, not one piece but two.
I hope you can glue them back, good as new.
If not then you can sew the pieces back that's fine too.
Loving me is hard, fixing the broken pieces.
In the end its worth it, you won't be let down.

I see people all around blind to everything.
Innocent to the world
People who know no hardship
What it's like for heart break to strike
Like a knife stabbing your heart
Or waking up from nightmares
Haunting ghosts telling you
"Your worthless"
Falling asleep after sheding tears
I look at people and wonder
How you can sleep at night
Not knowing how empty

You care for people who say they care for you. With your heart broken on your sleeve and a trail of tears left behind, I walk the earth, head down, crying. I ask why it's not fair, for people to be happy and you left broken. All I wanted was for you to see the broken side of me but all you saw was someone to fix you.

The heavens hold me down, fear and disgust on their faces.
Lust and greed plague my mind.
Ever so strong like the weight of a thousand thoughts.
Have you ever come across a person that lifts you high and then weighs you down like gravity. Feeling like **** but blissful at once. Living in feeling and knowing the cost. I wish it were easy but dying is hard.

Time has come for it to end, the battle of insanity.
Truely fought with kindness and cruelty.
Brought on by life's hard choices. This wall is coming down and my mind can't take it.
