The Ocean, does she fall, O so softly ? Her waves calm and deep, yet, restless as she weeps, Flowed has she, far, bounds and leaps away from home, Drifting aimlessly, under the stars, Restlessly arriving, yet never thriving, And now rests at my shores, singing melodic melancholy, Tales of goodbyes, crashing to and fro, Sinking onto herself, a tomb of lonely sighs, drowning me slow.

I'm not quite sure...
I wish to be a lonely star, Dance alone with the moon thru the night skies, But the moon, she shines too bright, Says her light needs more eyes, If I speak up, is it my demise, I can't get enough of her pretty sighs, does a star not look beautiful, As it dies.

It stings.
Your love, like nightfall, cool and inevitable. Soft moonlight that kisses my skin, glittering stars like counting blessings. Casting out shadows of days that have been, tiring. Laying still, yet admiring restlessly. I wish to be yours, forever and endlessly

I wrote this for you
Some days come quick, Some days, it drags it's feet, Beneath it's moonlit glittering fleet, Lays the ocean looking up at his lover, the moon, patiently waiting to meet.

Wanting
My tired eyes that draw out your lies, Do my plastic sighs ruin you disguise ? If I can’t read you, is that my demise? Twisted tongue, too tangled for goodbyes. Pity. I offer no vices.

Why can't I understand you...
I dreamt of your hundred sighs and hundred guise, a hundred moons blooming in your eyes. Let me drown in the river of you a hundred times, I’ll whisper I love you in a hundred rhymes.

Just a hundred ?
"what if you never see me again" asked the moon, The ocean, taken aback said "I've only ever seen what you've shown me"

Before the dawn.
Like the rain, I've fallen for you more times than I can count, Like the earth, you drink me in but never quite say a word.

Everyone has a reason to fall.
Miss Moonlight with tired eyes, illuminated by the dim screenlight, typing away through the night, On and on till sunrise, your silence is your cyanide. Slowly, as even the stars say their goodbyes, she falls into her Ocean's bedside, as he tucks her in with cool blue tides.

Don't stay up too late, love.
