Cuddle me, and let your arms be the harbor
where my restless thoughts dock after the storm.
Be the hush that quiets the thunder in my chest,
the velvet night that swallows every alarm.
Let your heartbeat be a drum against my ear,
a steady metronome against my doubt.
Wrap me in the silk of your quiet presence,
and stitch the fraying edges of my rout.
Cuddle me like dawn cradles the horizon,
soft, unwilling to let darkness linger.
Let your breath be the ember that won’t go cold,
melting the frost that clings to my finger.
I’m a leaf caught in a wind of borrowed worries
hold me still, and let the gale move on.
In the sanctuary of your hold, let time forget me,
till morning finds me where I belong.

Roses fade and sunsets end,
But memories with classmates blend.
Today we close another page,
Of learning, growth, and youthful age.
To my fellow BOSH and EH friends,
May success be where your journey bends.
Stay focused, humble, brave, and true,
Great opportunities wait for you.
Do not forget you are still students,
Building futures with patience and prudence.
Books and knowledge must stay your guide,
Let discipline always walk by your side.
Though today we laugh and celebrate,
Remember tomorrow will not wait.
Keep chasing dreams with hearts so bright,
And turn your struggles into light.
May God bless each step you take,
And reward every effort you make.
Together we learned, together we grew,
And the future is waiting for all of you.

Do you study at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences quietly?
Or live somewhere far beyond Malawi today?
Do your eyes carry hidden dreams?
Have heartbreaks already visited your gentle soul?
Or are you still peacefully smiling?
Please move carefully through this loud world.
Temporary feelings sometimes create permanent hidden wounds.
Protect your peace before chasing sweet attention.
Calm hearts usually make wiser loving decisions.
Your future deserves patience, respect, and loyalty.
Maybe destiny already watches us from distance.
Maybe we unknowingly pass each other daily.
Could your voice already comfort my storms?
Would your smile silence my deepest overthinking?
Or are we still strangers completely today?
I hope your nights remain soft and peaceful.
May nobody misuse your beautiful trusting heart.
Stay strong whenever loneliness whispers dangerous temptations softly.
Some sweet moments carry lifelong silent consequences.
Choose carefully, because your life truly matters.
One day our eyes will finally meet.
And everything lonely inside suddenly feels meaningful again.
I will recognize your calm beautiful loving spirit.
You will understand these poems were always yours.
Until then, remain safe, patient, and glowing.

Beneath the hills where wisdom shines,
A beacon stood, a school divine.
Kampanje CDSS, my guiding flame,
You carved my path, you wrote my name.
In classrooms filled with steady light,
You taught me courage, truth, and might.
Through trials faced, through lessons deep,
You planted dreams my soul will keep.
My grades rose higher, step by stride,
With teachers walking by my side.
No mountain tall, no fear to press,
Kampanje built my happiness.
I’ll never forget the days we shared,
The voices kind, the hearts that cared.
For in your walls I learned to see,
The pillar of success in me.
So let this verse forever bless,
Kampanje—my home of progress.
Your name I’ll honor, year by year,
The flame of triumph burning clear.

There once was a young traveler named Lema who lived in a quiet village surrounded by hills. Life had not been easy for him. He had lost many things he cared about, and with each loss, his heart grew heavier. People in the village often spoke of hope and faith, but to Lema, those words began to feel distant and unreal.
One day, feeling overwhelmed and restless, he decided to leave the village and walk into the great valley that stretched beyond the hills. The elders had always warned that the valley was long and difficult, but they also said it was where people discovered truth.
As Lema journeyed deeper, the path became rough. The sun was scorching by day, and the nights were cold and silent. There were moments he wanted to turn back, moments he sat on the ground and wondered why he had ever started.
On the third night, as he sat under a sky full of stars, he whispered, “If there is truly something greater watching over me, I need to know… I can’t do this alone.”
There was no loud answer. No thunder. No sudden miracle. But something changed.
A gentle peace settled in his heart.
The next morning, though nothing around him had changed, Lema felt a quiet strength he had never known before. Step by step, he continued walking. When he stumbled, he got back up. When fear whispered, something stronger within him whispered back, “Keep going.”
Days later, he reached the end of the valley. Before him stood a beautiful landscape filled with green fields, flowing water, and warm sunlight. It was more than he had imagined.
But what surprised him most was not the beauty—it was himself.
He realized the strength he had been searching for had been growing inside him all along. The peace he felt in the night had never left him. It had carried him through every step.
When Lema returned to his village, people noticed something different. He was still the same person, but his eyes held light. When others were discouraged, he would simply say, “The valley is hard, but you are never alone in it. Keep walking. The light will meet you there.”
And from that day on, Lema became a quiet reminder to everyone: even in the hardest moments, there is a strength beyond what we see—and it never leaves us.

Ausman Fyson grew up in a small village where dreams were often bigger than pockets. From secondary school, he was known as a quiet, hardworking boy who loved books more than football. But life was not easy. His father was a farmer, and his mother sold tomatoes at the market. Many times, school fees became a mountain too high to climb.
That was when Thandi came into his life.
Thandi was kind, brave, and full of hope. She believed in Ausman even when he doubted himself. Her parents owned a small shop, and though they were not rich, she always found a way to help. Sometimes she would save part of her allowance, sometimes she would secretly sell handmade bracelets, all so Ausman could stay in school.
“Your success is my joy,” she would always tell him.
From secondary school to college, and finally university, Thandi stood beside him like a strong tree in every storm. She paid fees when deadlines came, bought him notebooks, and encouraged him during nights when he wanted to give up.
Years passed, and Ausman graduated with honors in Business Management. Soon, he got a good job in the city. His intelligence and discipline opened many doors, and before long, he started his own company. The business grew fast, and wealth followed.
Many people expected him to forget where he came from, and especially to forget Thandi.
But Ausman never did.
One evening, he invited Thandi to a quiet restaurant. She smiled, thinking it was just a simple dinner. But after the meal, he placed an envelope in front of her.
“What is this?” she asked.
“Open it,” he said.
Inside was an admission letter to a university in Canada and a full sponsorship for her master’s degree.
Thandi’s hands trembled. Tears filled her eyes.
“Canada?” she whispered.
Ausman smiled warmly. “You carried my dreams from secondary school to university. Now it is my turn to carry yours. Love should be fruitful, not selfish.”
She cried and laughed at the same time.
Months later, Thandi flew to Canada to continue her education. At the airport, before she entered the departure gate, she hugged Ausman tightly.
“I believed in you,” she said.
“And I believe in us,” he replied.
Their love was never about money, but about sacrifice, faith, and growing together. It was a love that planted seeds in difficult seasons and harvested joy in the right time.
And truly, fruitful love always finds its season.

At Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences, Lecturer Ausman Fyson was known as a hardworking and respected teacher. Many students admired his confidence in class and the way he explained difficult lessons with ease.
Among the first-year students was Shaniese, a bright and ambitious young woman who had just started her journey at the university. She respected Mr. Fyson and often stayed behind after class to ask questions about assignments and career guidance.
With time, their conversations became more personal. What began as simple academic support slowly turned into a secret relationship. Friends warned both of them that such a path was dangerous, especially because a lecturer is expected to protect a student’s future, not complicate it.
But they ignored the warnings.
As months passed, the secret became harder to hide. Shaniese later discovered she was pregnant. The news shocked both families and the university community. Instead of building her future peacefully, her education was now surrounded by stress, shame, and public attention.
The university launched an investigation. It was found that the lecturer had abused professional boundaries and placed the student’s academic future at risk. The law took its course.
Ausman Fyson was arrested and later sentenced to 12 years in prison for misconduct that blocked the proper educational path of a student and violated professional ethics.
From behind prison walls, he reflected deeply on the choices he had made. Respect, career, and freedom had all been lost because he failed to pause when he should have.
His story became a serious warning across campuses:
To all male teachers and lecturers: when affection begins to cross professional boundaries, pause. Protect your career, protect the student’s future, and protect your dignity or cry like Ausman Fyson.
Some mistakes take only a moment to make, but years to regret.

There was once a girl named Thoko who lived in a small village in Malawi. From a young age, she dreamed of becoming a health and safety officer so she could help people stay safe and healthy at work.
After finishing secondary school, Thoko sat for her MSCE exams with great hope. She believed she would pass and continue with her education. But when the results came, she had failed. She was heartbroken, but she refused to give up.
The following year, she tried again. She studied hard, spent sleepless nights reading her books, and prayed every day. But sadly, she failed again.
People in the village started laughing at her.
“Why do you keep wasting your time?” some said.
“Maybe school is not for you,” others whispered.
Still, Thoko did not stop.
She wrote the MSCE exams for the third time, then the fourth, fifth, and sixth time. Each time, the results were disappointing. Her friends moved on with life, but she remained with her dream.
Sometimes she cried alone at night, asking herself if she should quit. But deep inside, a small voice kept telling her, “Keep going. One day things will change.”
On her seventh attempt, Thoko decided this would be her strongest fight. She studied harder than ever before. She avoided distractions, asked teachers for help, and believed in herself.
When the results were finally released, her hands were shaking as she opened them.
She stared at the paper in silence.
Then tears rolled down her cheeks—but this time, they were tears of joy.
She had scored 7 points!
Not only had she passed, but she had also been selected to the University of South Africa (UNISA) to study Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Health.
The same people who once laughed at her now came to congratulate her.
Thoko smiled and said, “Failure is not the end. Giving up is the real failure.”
She left for university with pride, knowing that her journey would inspire many others.
Lesson: Keep on trying. One day, things will alter. Never give up on your dreams.

Pride once danced wildly free
Lazy days stole dreams gold
Regrets now whisper pain
Faded hopes, empty gain
Time lost, can't rewind
Ghosts of failures haunt me
Shadows of wasted time
Echoes of missed chances
Whispers of "what if"
Fires of ambition dim
MUBAS threw the gauntlet
Kicked out, left to ponder
Lessons learned in pain
Hard work's sweet refrain
Waves of regret crash ashore
Rise, fellow students, rise
Seize the day's warm light
Chase dreams with fierce passion
Let ambition be your guide
Forge success, don't be late
