I love all your oceans
the shallow ripples
the furious storms
the current drawn depths
the sun painted breaths
I love all your oceans
the dappled ridges
the soft ebbs
the tsunami winds
I love all your oceans
You are beautiful
In your vastness

Simple knots tie me here
Wrapped around my ankles
Tethered in my hair
Simple knots tie me here
Here in the large oak
Torn down to its seed
Simple knots tie me here
In the rickety banister
That creaks on the wind
Simple knots tie me here
The dungeon that my demons lay
The hole my mind fell in
Simple knots tie me here
The hole in the wall
Made from blood
Simple knots tie me here
Screams of pain
Shouts of love
Whispers that beg
Simple knots tie me here
Porcelain Bomb shelters
Well placed drawers
Unusable locks
Simple knots tie me here
The slamming of the door
The pounding of the ground
The bang
The bang
The bang
Simple knots tie me here
A poised knife
Wrists too tiny
Simple knots tie me here
The bang
The bang
The bang
Simple knots tie me here
Honey dripped sunlight
Syrup in the air
Shimmering dust
Simple knots tie me here
Twinkling trees
Crinkling leaves
Simple knots tie me here
The bang
The bang
The bang
Simple knots tie me here
From my core the rope
From my throat the hands
From my wrists the blade
Simple knots tie me here
The bang
The bang
The bang
Simple knots tie me here
Here where the oak is cut to the seed
Here where the laughter echos
Here where the dust settles
Here where the oak is remembered by its twisted feet
Here where the knots were tied
Simple knots tie me here
Here where the bang died.

Lovely creature,
Warm nights sprawled into little hours,
Tinkling of bells fill my ears
Feathers fly
Blood trickles into jewels
Gold seeps through me
Devine breath you breathe
Goddess draped by sorrow
Porcelain plastered smile
Lush depths you dive
Shimmering crescent on paved glitter
Gods breath consuming souls below us
Fair creatures prance before you
How beautifully broken you are
In the face of Gold shackles, you fly
Boundless angel
Whispering smiles
My heart so deeply dreams
My mind so wistfully flounders
Lovely creature you are boldly dripping
Shed the tinkling drops
they weren’t meant to hold you
Words weave your lips and hold me there.

Suffocating, foaming, festering
memories purr at me
Taunting me
haunting me
with each move onward
the fading of breath
gasping
Begging, screaming, pleading
To inhale
Yet chained
My captor, Time takes pleasure in tears
Laps them up in a crystallized glass
Sipping on the past
He dances on the pounding of my chest
playing recklessly in step
Pattering with delicate sadism
He licks at my throat
toying with me,
Making game of me,
fuming his breath
in whispering tendrils
In memorial of my air.
I claw at my neck
Slashes of trial
Ripping of cords
Time holds me
While life sits on the edge
Watching in fascination
Seeing from afar
Life watches
Sits on the edge
Time teaches me
Punishes me
Time knows he’ll win
Life knows I’ll lose
Death a late guest
Flashes lightly before my eyes
Time whispers its last lesson
breathe the fog
sip the poison
sit with us
learn to love absence of breath
Life applauds
Death bows
Time sips as the rich aromas
prance his lungs in a finale
That begs no encore

Wild mind
Oh how beautiful you can be, flying from one precious image to the next, carelessly grazing my wounds
Wild mind you meticulously search my body stitching the unnoticed,
Yet Wild mind do you not search for yourself?
Do you not stitch the wounds you have stumbled through?
When you catch on the heart, is your path not forged with pain?
Wild mind hold your footing, carefully watch where your step, the boundless energy you fly recklessly, pains.
Can you not feel the tear, the rip your wings have fluttered through?
Wild mind you are free, beautifully recklessly free
Wild mind take care of my heart, it doesn’t know the freedom, it doesn’t know to run, it fears that pain forged path, it fears that worn down hill
Wild mind, you, you inspire
Wild mind unburden me and take the heart that wounds
be recklessly beautiful
