The Aimless Romantic
3purplepebbles Dec 2017
The love of The Aimless Romantic reaches the bottoms of the oceans

The love of The Aimless Romantic reaches the stars

The love of The Aimless Romantic reaches beyond all of these things and even reaches the things she has no knowledge of

The love of The Aimless Romantic reaches the sky, who didn't choose one color and didn't decide to host one thing and did not conclude to exist only above us
But is of many colors, but hosts many entities; clouds, the sun, the auroras, the moon, stars
and sometimes
we can look down and see the sky as defined by the water
There should be more
there is, but not here

Hellish
3purplepebbles Nov 2017
When we think of what hell is, we usually think about the firey place depicted in cartoons
But wouldn't this be quite accurate?
Cartoons are places with no true rules or order
anything is possible
Wouldn't hell be a place of things that make no sense?
A place that follows no laws?
A place nearly fictional but made real by the millions who believe

Truly
3purplepebbles Nov 2017
There will truly never be enough cake in this lifetime
but absence makes the heart grow fonder
isn't it?
In your absence......

There is a reason
3purplepebbles Oct 2017
There is a reason

in case you're wondering

There is a explanation as to why we feel

 the way we feel

during that time of year

That time of year when it's chilly

or for other people

just not as hot as it usually is

There is a reason

You know in science class

when they taught you that the earth circles the sun

well there is something that they don't teach you.

The universe does that too

our universe

 it revolves around and around

I don't know how long it's been that way

or what set it into motion

or even what it's revolving around

but I'll let you know once I find out

and I will find out

There are other universes too that travel around in the same way ours does

And within each of those universes

there is us

There is you and there is me and there are others

People just like us

 but different

People in a reality where maybe

we are all dogs

or eat clothing for nutrition

or or maybe simply have longer hair.

A reality where you are still you

but maybe just a little smarterer

funnier or creative

or have an aesthetic for ripped jeans and eyeliner

maybe you like jazz

maybe you prefer psychedelic rock

or maybe you hate music altogether

Despite all these differences

 you

and your others

 are the same

deep down

On the orbital journeys of the many universes

there is a point in time when all of the universes are closest together

This is when we are closest to our others

We feel happy

Because we feel as if we are closer than we've ever been to understanding and accepting who we really are

and we feel the least alone

of course not everyone feels this way

There are some people who that when this time of year comes around

 they feel stressed out

 or sad

or just cold;

not cold just because of the weather, of course

but because they are now closer to the person they hate the most

 the person that they are;
This concept is not fully developed and is told from the perspective of a character I'm working on
Please give me tips and advice and suggestions and whatever else you have!

depression addiction
3purplepebbles Jan 2017
Despair is quite different from adrenaline,
but it is just as addictive
3purplepebbles Apr 2016
Suppose that I wasn't meant to be here
That I wasn't meant to go the places that I gone
That I wasn't meant to do the things that I've done
that I wasn't meant to be me

Supose that I was destined to be someone else
That my spirit was fated for something else
That who I am and who I should be are two different things

Suppose that when souls were being assigned a purpose and a life
I looked at my future
and wasn't satisfied
And I saw another life
and saw a deeper meaning and purpose

Suppose that within the life I saw many people who would need my help
I saw a woman who was told by the doctors that she couldn't have any children
I saw child who had lost their mother
I saw a woman who had lost a father and sister
I saw a child whow needed a guidence

Suppose that when I saw these things
I knew what I had to do
I had to defy fate
Create a new destiny
Be that child
Be that mother
That sister
That guide
Be me

Suppose that these things are true
And is evident within those sad moments where I feel like I don't belong here
And in those happy moments when I feel that the life I'm living is something precious that I had to steal

One and the Same
3purplepebbles Apr 2016
Sometimes
we call them planets
Sometimes
we call them atoms
The wise man knows that there is no difference
He knows that they are truly one and the same
Within the same universe
Concept from Minecraftś End Poem
¨Sometimes it called those flecks ¨electrons¨ and ¨protons¨. Sometimes it called them ¨planets¨ and ¨stars¨.

A whale of a tale/lie
3purplepebbles Mar 2016
If I told you that in the closet lived a whale
Would you say that was a lie or tale?

If you believed it
And afterwards
you feel naive then
It's a lie
because it was decieving

But if we both know it's not true
And I am amused
and so are you
Then we could call it a tale
And together fantasize
about the closet whale
Concept from the book"freak the mighty" by: Rodman Philbrick
(15,16) "I'm telling tales, my dear, not lies. Lies are mean things, and tales are meant to entertain."

Gravity let me down
3purplepebbles Mar 2016
Our good friend gravity never lets us down
He helps us onto the sidewalks when we're walking the town

He helps us into the water when we're taking a swim
He helps us stay on the floor where we twirl and spin

He'll aid us as we're standing so we won't fall off of the floor
He'll aid us as we're jumping so we'll always fall back for more

He aids us in our brawls
So that our fists are sure to fall

He aids us in our slumber
so that we'll stay in bed together

But what if gravity left for a while,
And left us to figure out what's up and down

Strolling through the town in the sky
Not the ground

Taking a dive
and ending up in the sky

Dancing on ceilings and walls
And standing on the floor when you suddenly fall

Jumping up and not coming back to the ground
Gravity has let me down
and up you'd gone
Up to heaven
Up to home
I have another ending for this poem, but I just can not decide...

Gravity has let me down
And up you went
To whence you were sent
Up to heaven you'd gone
Up to you're home

I need you
3purplepebbles Mar 2016
Tightly
I embraced you
As tightly as the sky embraces the sun
But
You slipped away
And disappeared
Just as the sun slips out of the sky's embrace
And disappears beyond the horizon
But
You left me with something
A feeling
Of nothingness
Just as the sun leaves a darkness within the sky
But
Within my nothingness
Are memories
They are bright and full of warmth
Just as within the sky's nothingness
There are stars
But
Memories aren't enough
I need you
To make my world brighter
Just as the stars aren't bright enough
And the sun is needed to brighten our world
I need you

LOVELY LEAVES
3purplepebbles Feb 2016
Lovely leaves, lovely leaves
On the branches of the trees

But every year these leaves will leave
Leaving a bare and grieving tree

Forever the trees will envy the evergreens
Never bare and forever green

But tree does not know they envy him as well
They've not forgotten how tree was before his leaves fell

Leaves yellow, red and orange
Ever green is ever boring

Tree does not know that before his leaves left
They left behind a priceless gift

A moment of beauty
Admired by many

— The End —
