Where are you my sweet darling?
I miss you this rainy evening,
I'm still feeling up and down
Lately, I have lost my sunshine!
I don't wanna touch the moon
I just want to reach your hand again!

Please, please, don't get me wrong
This morning is fresh and young
I want you to enjoy this nature
My wish we will walk together
beneath the dark sky, on the beach again!

I just wanna see you my sunshine
Oh, come back to me, you're mine
Touch my cheeks and get my eyes
They still feel you like snowflakes
Darling, make me melt with you again!
🙏

I don't feel real

call me by my name
forgot the sound
when it leaves someones lips

A leaf falls slowly to the ground,
Going round, round and round,
First, it was green, now it is brown,
Every leaf is like a tear,
Soft and gentle,
Falling from the tree,
As if it were crying,
As it's slowly dying.
Falling
Into the stream,
Taken down the river,
And away it goes,

A petal sits on the ground,
Red as the rose it fell from,
Each petal is like tissue,
Soft and kind to the touch,
Butterflies once landed on it,
But now insects crawl over it,
A summer breeze gently blows,
The petal is taken up to the clouds,
Away it goes,

A butterfly glides slowly around,
With that flapping sound
Searching for flowers,
Searching for nectar,
Gliding on the summer breeze,
Down to the river and the tear, like leaves,
Then up to the clouds and the tissue-like petals,
Then back to the flowers,
And away it goes.
If you're a tree, or a leaf ,
A rose, or a petal,
A caterpillar, or a butterfly.
We all end up the same way
We'll all die at some point but we need to remember, that in the end we're all equal.

never a dancer,
nor had I intended,
but you crafted me
from board-stiff limbs
and
with a lick and promise
I danced.

from the strings dangling down
from a heart-sporting sleeve,
a marionette I was
you tugged to the rhythms
you pulled through the silence
and against my intentions
I danced.

The universe puts her headphones on
And plays her favorite track
The raindrops in the meadow burst
And soak the earth
And with her feet up on the world
She smiles from ear to ear
And plays it back
What songs does the universe listen to? Is there a more beautiful sound than the rain falling in the secluded meadow. Truthfully, I don't know. But I do love the sound of these words as they roll off the tongue. YUPP!

BIG THANKS to everyone who liked, commented, and helped make this verse the Poem of the day (on 05/18/18). I really appreciate it! You can listen to me read this poem live on SoundCloud. Just follow the link and have an awesome day!

My daughter talks to
her blueberries like
they're her friends.
My soul smiles
and I never want
it to end.
my daughter eating breakfast, she's two and a half.
