Arik Fletcher "Her path was clear and filled with light,"

Her path was clear and filled with light,
Her thoughts were pure and ever right,
Her love secure and passion bright,
Her faith a beacon through the night.

She dreamt of life in other lands,
She wished for more than empty sands,
She looked for hope in other's hands,
She found nothing but broken strands.

Her heart now cold as falling snow,
Her love crushed like the grass below,
Her soul turned frozen long ago,
Her smile now simply there for show.

lina al sahli "The answer was bright clear in me and you"

My heart is grown wide caring for so many
Yet torn apart
Blinded by lies they told cause it sounded so sweet like honey
Chocolate coated I didn't notice so naive that , it must be funny
Never really cared never really shared
Kept to myself , cold as ice  but to everyone I just flared
the problem is when I cared I got betrayed
By best friends and lovers now everyone seems fake
There's just so much I can take
I knew everything that was going on ,it was my mistake
With all my strength to move on my heart still aches
The happiest moments of my life you turned to pain
for gods sake why'd do this to me its driving me insane
But who's the one to blame you fooled me a 100 times I guess the shame's on me
It just makes me wonder will anyone stay true
The answer was bright clear in me and you
Still I know I'll do it all over again
And it'll mean a great deal to me even though its vain
Am not crazy or insane
Am just a human
With a big heart that been torn apart
But my hearts too big that it will always have a new start
And that's what's keeping me together the fact that I'll love again

K Balachandran "but now it is clear, there is a jewel I want to adorn on my"

A lusty wanderer,
from life to life; I am a butterfly,
fragile, but my desires take me from,
flower to flower, in search of new flavors,
I often find, myself  in quandaries, quagmires and coal fires.
And at the end I am left with nothing else, but unfulfilled desires,
the nectar, that used to be my bait, I thought would be the end I seek;
but now it is clear, there is a jewel I want to adorn on my crown: Enlightenment it is.
Now I am aware, a seeker I am first and last, my hungers will vanish when I embrace cosmos.
This butterfly's flight through the mist will end when a flower will  feed me with nectar eternal.

"Asato ma sat gamaya                               (lead me from untruth to truth)
Tamaso ma jyothir gamaya                      (lead me from darkness to light)
Mrityor ma amrutam gamaya "                (Lead me from death to immortality)

Brahadaranyaka Upanishad(1:3:28)
Albert DeGuerre "Clear and radiant with light -"

There is honesty in blue.
That sudden hue of the sky above you -
Clear and radiant with light -
Then it can grow dark with a foreboding hue -
Filling moments with fear and sadness -
Blue is analogous to life's entire journey -
It is not as rigid as red -
Or as harsh as yellow -
Certainly not as fickle as green.
Blue is the color that resonates deepest
with me.

Kelly O'Connor "You are all my fatal fear, your mind is clear, all here"

Darkened doorways to the outside, bright wide doorways to insides
My insides, spilled on the linoleum over the smell of oleander
I stare into your black cracked eyes with a loving smile
It’s a gaze in the fog where your thin fingers stretch
You are all the hills, all the ditches and fills, the trills
Of nightbirds and coyotes looking for the kill
You are ruthless, ruthless, ruthless…
And I fly every mile like a salamander slides.

And I must, hush, say this in a whisper, whispering cobwebs
My morning glory, sweet sunrise through black curtain.
I could have learned to live a long time ago
With a gaze in the fog you touched and taught me
You are all my fatal fear, your mind is clear, all here
Your legend floating in a perfect tear
It is endless, endless, endless…
Your crystalline flow on the uncertain ebbs.

How many, many eyes do you have? How many sighs
Drift through your rafters like your own vortex of laughter?
I remember falling in love with a light from beyond you
Your gaze in the fog like the fire from your head
Eggshell lead paint, no complaint, breathe in till you faint
With all your soul that of a stenciled saint
Songs so shameless, endless, ruthless,
Cannot fly through this shell until after it dies.

My first love poem...
the undead faerie girl "And it became clear to see"

Once upon a time, long long ago
And angel and a demon met
Both assigned to work on earth
To follow respective fates.
Once the jobs were done,
Both missions fin, complete
They set back to rest their feet
And bask in the setting sun.
At least the angel did.
The demon, here you see,
Was a serpent, or so they say
And of feet he had none.
A flaming sword was missing
But ah, what else was new?
They waited, talking until dawn
And then off the angel flew
They now had new missions,
Which sometimes conflicted
But tell me honestly,
What else would you have predicted?
So through the millenia they worked
The demon and the angel.
The angel shone, the demon lurked
But not as well as before
And through the years that passed them by
They began to form a bond, unheard of in all lore.
Though one a sinner, one a saint
Both found they truly had
A friend in enemy lines, and wondered;
Was it really truly so bad?
Though forces of good and evil,
They had some common ground
Of the Father and the Devil
No easy master was to be found.
This demon and this angel,
Though as different as could be
Were assigned the same mission
And it became clear to see
No longer could they fight
No longer could they be friends
They must form a new alliance
One to last beyond the end.
And it was plain to see
This was a good omen

Rosie Wisniewski "Plain as day, clear as crystal"

The man in the hat always stares
The man in the hat is always there
The man in the hat holds the key
Under his hat, no one can see
Everyone is looking at me
The man in the hat is there
Can't you see?

Here in a pinch and gone in a flash
How long are these supposed to last?
Who knew it was this late?
I always lose track when I hallucinate.

Am I crazy or are you?
Keep staring, it's nothing new
But, have you seen the man in the hat?

No one ever sees the man in the hat
But, on my bedside he sat
Plain as day, clear as crystal
He sat there by my side

They say a sickness and I say a blessing
Someone there is all I've needed
And now the man in the hat is here
I am well now, my dear.
Nothing left to fear
My man in the hat is here.

I wrote this by putting myself in someone elses' shoes. I don't have any sort of hallucination disorder.
James Williams "No magic ball but it's crystal clear, you were the piece of my life that was"

When in your heart you know that it's over, just not man enough to admit it..
So close I could have grabbed it another thing added to my wish list..
It's finished at least I feel it is, pain and sorrow how real it is..
Losing end of the bargain what kind of deal is this, putting my walls back up extra pad locks, made of steel and shit..
You shall not pass, none shall enter, bittersweet memories I'd rather not remember..
I always will that was a lie, along with me saying that ill be fine..
Maybe one day if I find the time, can't blame you, i knew the rules when I passed that line..
Now all that's left is to face my fears, in the back of my mind I knew you'd disappear..
No magic ball but it's crystal clear, you were the piece of my life that was missing dear..
Incomplete I feel that, you couldn't do it I hear that..
Imperfect perfection yes we're that, can you hear that?
Ghosts of what we used to be, just thought over time you'd get used to me..
When it came down to it thought you were choosing me, thought wrong you changed up that was news to me..
Now when I come around it's like who is he..
And when you ask, you're what happened to the dude that I used to be..
