Trying to avoid the routes everyone else travels
I take remote side roads and superfluous detours
seeing sights unseen and grass that’s green
until gravelly roads are met by tired tires
breaking down in the middle of nowhere
with nobody around to help
I can see the freeway from here
where cars flock together
while getting to where they want to go.

Traveled many roads
Every direction I walk
Leads back to your arms
No matter what I do
I always come back to you

Gave me life I didn’t ask for
you that traveled so long
felt like I knew those eyes in a dream
m-made it in
oh, get what you hope, that’s all
oh, get what you hope, that all?
you that traveled so long
you that traveled so long
you that traveled, so long
so long

I chose
the road
less traveled

and you probably
don't know
what to do

forgive me
it is such
a wonderful
place to be

I don't know where I've come from....
I don't know where I'm going....
"Keep going! And don't stop!"
Says the only voice I hear.

I wish I could give you this beautiful pain
   Its captivating to endure
To watch it unfold inch by unbeatable inch

            Its long

            Makes you hard and callous
And makes you grovel in gravel begging for the end
     And it becomes a road
A winding, twisting road that wraps around your throat

A gorgeous asphyxiation blurs the smiles of the passengers in the cars on the asphalt

   And you blur into unreality
         The road ends

The film in your head stops

And your left sitting unblinkingly...
Abstract Agony at its Finest
