Seconds go by in tender bliss
We smell roses and stain our hands with
crushed petals.
Declarations of life long rumination
live between the distance in our
exchanged affirmations.
Happiness opens its undisguised embrace
As the silence between our spoken words
fills the gaps of our stuttered promises.

I dream of us reuniting as the water reunites with the sand and carries it along
So I could get to express the love I kept suppressed beneath
But I don't know if ever in this life, you will come back
With a frail twine of hope, I now breathe

I witness the lazy sunset on our favourite beach alone, every day
Which once we did together in one another's arms
I write your name on the sand, hoping for the water to not wash it away
Not before you come back and I fall for your subtlest charms

I sit for hours, from dusk till dawn, waiting for you to return
So we could sleep by the water and wake up to the sun
Watch the sky turn tangerine and then paint it all black
And sleep under the stars while the tides sing us lullabies. Oh, such fun.

And if you ever come back, I will first kiss your lips and caress you whole
So you could immerse all the love and keep it sealed in between your ribs
Only then I will always be close to your heart like you are to my soul
And a fire will ignite, helping us keep the love and the burning desire alive.

We're not the only ones in the world
Just shush and wait for the right time
It's when the sun and moon meets
And everything else comes to life
To the one I love, Don't be sad!

It's 3 am,
everything feels like it's falling apart.
Self belief is fading,
heart is aching, mind is raging,
colors are fading,
self esteem is deteriorating,
and I am here expressing.

Writing to reunite the broken pieces
into words and art
so it feels like i am not break and falling apart.

I.

When I had to leave, I think
I must have hidden you
I grabbed you up
Put you somewhere safe
Pulled you from me
Into a box, gently
Opening up the walls of myself,
My old house
I might return to
And I placed you inside and
Gently
Sealed up my walls around you
Like gum
Or snow
Or sand
She seals you
And left you there to find again one day

Pulling down cobwebs
Through the ghost town of me
Don’t wake her
She’s still asleep
I know where to dig
Delicately
Groping down
Like a survivor
Returning to their old home
Shake my bones
And retrieve you deep
From the heart of me
Where I always knew you’d be

The love of my life.
O – how do I miss you.
And your round inquisitive blue eyes.
And the gold frame of locks around your porcelain face.

Hundreds of miles separate us.
But our conversation brings me to your side.
When we questioned the cosmos,
And contemplated unearthly realms.

Life was eroding,
I took steps in the wrong direction.
Perhaps if I stayed, you would have fixed me.

Our time together was short.
But our story is never-ending.

My heart yearns for you, O' Georgia.
And the art on your skin.
And the geography of your body.

My mind wanders to a time where we reunite.
And a time where I never leave.
Could they be the same?

In a little hole in soft dirt she planted a tree holding his hand she said it's for you and me

Like their love for each other the tree quickly grew
He and she with the tree no longer made two

Kisses and hugs were their thing to share
as the time passed the tree was no longer bare

The branches stretched out all the way to the sky
but the apples couldn't be reached and started to die

Instead of a lot they ate them a little
without care and nurture the tree became brittle

The apples shrunk and started to wither
But not so for the love that he had to give her

She came across another fruit that changed her taste

Delicious no more the apples went to waste

When the fruit goes out of season it will not taste as sweet
She will then remember how tasty those apples were to eat

He knows she knows he loved her to his very core
Why can't things be like the way they were before.

It turned out that the soft dirt could not support the tree
A stable foundation may have been different for he and she

The taste of Juicy Red Apples we know is hard to forget

He knows the tree is still alive, in that he can bet

Will she ever return to the apples or just let it be

Will she ever want to plant another apple tree

The oceans waves lift, slowly each droplet rising
Reaching the height of the earth the endless stream of water fighting
Particles refracting and contracting in the sunlight
brilliant rainbows glisten in rivulets so bright

The crystal waters thrusts beyond the sky
The oceans torrents beating to its lullaby
The Moons orbit nears
The water freezing to a blizzard of tears

A river of ice drifts toward the moon engulfed in dark
The stream of shards remaining Stark
The impact is dazzling, but frightening too
I flood and spiral around, am I on cue

I am so glad we can meet and be one presence
Let us swing around and dance through the heavens
