There is an ancient tune,
as old as the wandering moon.
It floats on gentle breeze,
of a woman weeping.

It moans softly through the trees
and haunts you when you dream.
Her tears are like a gentle stream,
of lost lullabies she will never sing.

It whispers faintly in the rain
emptiness of arms that never fade.
Death and loss is all that pervade
on her nightly serenade.

Every morning when we see
A great ball of light
It is our rising son
Every morning when we see
A great white cross
It is our rising son
Every morning when we see
A stone rolled back
It is our rising son
Every morning when we see
A picture of a child
It is our rising son
Every morning when we see
A winged shadow
It is our rising son
Every morning when we see
My garden growing
It is our rising son
Every morning when we see
Love in your eyes
It is our rising son
Every morning when we see
Grace faith peace
It is our rising son
Written for the parents of Matthew Blake. I never knew Matthew but I knew his parents way back when in high school. Matthew left this place much too early.
Leti, my Leti
my beautiful little girl
your smile so big and happy
your hair dark and full of curls.
Leti, my Leti
my precious little girl
So full of life, so full of love
you're everything that's ever mattered
My entire world.
Leti, my Leti
Life, without you, has no meaning
The days never end.
But I push forward, waiting...
for that day in heaven...
Waiting for that day I will see you again.

It has been 3 months..
Three long months
Since I found you in your room....

Still, still as a sleeper
I thought you were just passed out...
Still...I could not wake you
My heart just raced...

Still, I tried to shake you
I thought you would awake...
Still...your lips looked blue
Still, was your body as he laid  you on your back

Still...I had to call 911
I tried to resuscitate....
Still...I thought I could save you
But you would not wake

Still...the sound of sirens
Many people rushing in
Still...I thought they would save you
But my heart just breaks....

Still... is the sounds in your room now
Still and gone is your loving voice
Still my mind can't comprehend
That my first born no longer
walks this earth...

Still... is the night
Still... is my heart
Still... are your sisters and Dad
Still... is our life
...Without You...
I still can't believe your gone...Angela Michelle Faye Martin...
Don't forget your Mother's love and my arms wrapping you in a hug....
Love Forever....Mom
