SEASONS I KNOW
Vish Jun 2013
Seasons I know, are not too high and not too low,
Just like the rain, the sun and the snow.
Seasons are green, seasons are blue,
But never do we know when they pass by you.
Some are bright while some are dark,
But some are just close to our heart.
There are seasons of love, and seasons of hate,
Seasons of joy, but all this god creates.
Seasons will come; seasons will go,
Just like passengers in a train that we don’t know.
Seasons are different seasons are unique
Just like some people who come our dreams.
Seasons are two and sometimes four,
But love once happened will happen no more.
Beaches are the spot when summer comes along,
Our beds make our crib when winter dawns.
Autumn is yellow, when leaves fall low
Down on earth making the roads all glow.
Spring is new, blooming and bright
There are flowers and fruits and much far off sight.
These are, seasons I know, seasons I see, seasons I feel, touch and breathe.
Seasons come and go,
Each year it's the same.
If only people changed like the seasons.
Winter, Summer, Autumn, Spring;
Each one holds a secret,
It's own special magic.

Winter holds a promise that there is
Life after Death.
Spring ignites a spark; a sliver of
Hope and a pinch of Joy for healing.
Autumn holds the key to
Eternity,
And Summer is the Epicenter of
The Magic.
Summer is the result; the After-life;
It is Rebirth.

Seasons change, and people do too,
But it's a pity - a shame - that people
Don't change the same way.
People are too unpredictable; we change
Our minds too many times, we change
Our Destinies every day.

Seasons don't.

Seasons accept their constant cycle;
Their Natural Pattern.
People will never be like the Seasons.
I guess that's what makes us all
Unique.

In this way
We are Designed -
Crafted, Molded.

Seasons harbour a Secret;
It's own special Magic.
We too, are our own special Magic.

Winter promises Life after Death,
People are promised Happiness after Depression.
Spring ignites a spark of Joy for Healing,
People are promised Joy and Healing after Pain
And Suffering.

Autumn holds the key to Eternity,
People are promised Eternity in the Promised Land.
Summer is the Epicenter; the After-life,
And people are the Epicenters of their own lives.

We are our own Masters of Catastrophe.
People are Reborn in Faith.

Looking at it now, maybe we are much like
The Seasons.

We are predictable in our unpredictability.
This is our prized Possession.
This is our kind of Magic.

People have seasons, people are seasons.
Winter is our Darker side,
Spring is our Healing,
Summer, our Euphorical - blissful side,
Autumn, our Procrastination, our Changing,
Our Learning.

Just like the Seasons, we change;
We mold our Futures and become who we are meant
To be;
We become part of a Cycle.
"Oldie but a goodie." The title was given to me as a topic for unprepared poetry writing 2 years ago, and I finished it within 5 minutes of our given time of 1 hour, and a few weeks after submission, found out that I was overall item winner.
That pushed me even harder to pursue Poetry.

I am from the seasons
That never ends
They repeat their memories
Repeating them selves
Dead branches white snow
Blue sky the sun’s glow
Red leaves the winds blow
Green grass the river’s flow
These bewitching seasons enamor me no end
Memories tug at my soul
In their depth I blend
Besotted by seasons I am
They leave me in jam
Clocks turn, Seasons change
Memories and moments one can’t exchange
Accepting each season
Approaching each moment
I breathe in cold frigid air
And exhale warm clouds
Seasons are happy
Seasons are sad
Seasons are beautifully mad
I am from the seasons
That never ends
They repeat their memories
Repeating themselves.
Well had to write something for school online magazine !

Seasons

When seasons change, colors get darker
and set mood for life around the sun.
When seasons change, the world prepares
for things unfinished and what is to come.
When seasons change, all are aware
of the cold that will creep beneath our skin.
When seasons change, the ending is near
and we hold summer close as our kin.
When seasons change, the leaves are dead
the trees are dead
no blood in their veins .
We expect this when seasons change.

Where the rivers may cross at the end
of the streams, water that brings life
back to the trees.
Happiness follows the sweet lasting breeze,
and we live in the presence of sorrowful spring.
The buds are in millions of heads upon ease,
that still have not brought us life in the leaves

When seasons change, all is expected
and hope is still strong and will is protected.
When seasons change, we do not prevail
and never once think out visions may fail.
I was debating on whether or not to post this but it's still kind of funny. I was 13 or 14 when I wrote this and wasn't really aiming at anything other than playing with words and creating imagery. Not bad for little old me huh? :)

The moods swing as the seasons change
Cold wind and gloomy nights make awful days
Crickets perish as the seasons change
The buzzing sound dulls away
Sunlight turns to darkness as the seasons change
The once bright sunlight hides far away
My self-esteem dwindles as the seasons change
I question whether I am sane
My mood changes as the seasons change
We intertwine and feel each others pain
My Loneliness deepens as the seasons change
This hollow house comforts my pain
My nature changes as the seasons change
Morbid thoughts shroud my brain
Activity depresses on the bridge as the seasons change
Too bad I chose Winter to accept my fate
Life goes on as the seasons change
With or without me that won’t change
My first poem, idk if it is any good. Thanks.

he seasons come,
And the seasons go,
The seasons ebb,
And the seasons flow.

The spring green hue,
The rich autumn gold,
The clear summer blue,
The grey winter cold.

The changing mask
Of our Mother Earth,
Winter her death,
And spring her re-birth.

Spring starts the tune,
Autumn beats the time,
Summer sings the song,
Winter blows the chime.

The seasons change,
Yet all stay the same,
Nature’s illusion;
Her own magic game.

The seasons come,
And the seasons go,
The seasons ebb,
And the seasons flow ...

Oh the beauty of the seasons,
Each one with it's own specific reasons.
Winter springing as Summer is falling,
Look at the sounds of Memory, calling.

Feel the warmth as a summer breeze blows;
Washing us over, from our head to our toes.
Remember the laughter spent in summer days bright
As children dance with glee into the summer night.
As August comes to an end you should know,
Summer is the season in which life and friendships grow.

Oh the beauty of the seasons,
Each one with it's own specific reasons.
Winter springing as Summer is falling
Look at the sounds of Memory, calling.

Autumn is here now and summer is over
Kids return to school another year older.
This is the season where change happens most
The beauty in the changes, her greatest boast.
We gather around while the world outside is dying
Giving thanks for each other, while others are crying.

Oh the beauty of the seasons,
Each one with it's own specific reasons.
Winter springing as Summer is falling
Look at the sounds of Memory, calling.

Old man Winter arrives with a storm
Beating us down, making us worn.
But then the storm is over and snow covers the ground.
Frozen crystals hang from the trees, beauty all around.
Winter has washed the dead of the land snow white.
A reminder of the power of the perfect work of Christ.

Oh the beauty of the seasons,
Each one with it's own specific reasons;
Winter springing as Summer is falling
Look at the sounds of Memory, calling.

As old man Winter blows away,
Spring brings life with each new day.
A gentle breeze blows in the honey bees
That love the very trees that make you sneeze.
Rain drops splatter with every April shower,
Working with the Sun to give life to every flower.

Oh the beauty of the seasons,
Each one with it's own specific reasons;
Winter springing as Summer is falling
Look at the sounds of Memory, calling.

Winter covers Autumn's death with beautiful snow white
And Spring brings the rain to give us life.
As life lives through the summer we continue to grow,
And Autumn reminds us of things we don't want to know:
There is a beauty to change and even in death,
So long as you live for Him who gives rest.

Oh the beauty of the seasons,
Each one with it's own specific reasons;
Winter springing as Summer is falling
Look at the sounds of Memory, calling.

The Seasons

The Seasons move along so quiet in time,
an ever changing tapestry.
The Seasons know about love's riddles and rhymes,
that lay beneath and Autumn tree.

Where is the Springtime we use to bring,
a time we could call our own?
Where are the love songs we use to sing,
or did I sing them alone?

The Seasons give me time to wrestle my fears,
and show how good a change can be.
The Seasons always bring me beautiful years,
but never bring you back to me.

When in the Winter, does healing begin?
So cold, so lonely, so gray?
Making the flowers love once again,
blowing the leaves away.

The Seasons mend a broken heart with a breeze,
felt by a Summer windowsill.
The Seasons tend to come and go as they please,
and leave behind just what they will.

Just as the Seasons change, so do our lives.  In order to function in these Seasons, one will have to be wise.
Just as the Seasons change, we grow one year older.  As our teenagers matures, they will become bolder.
Just as the Seasons change, you'll experience different types of  weather.  In the Winter months, inside is where people gather.
Just as the Seasons change, so many can't wait for Spring.  People attitude may become better, they may not act so mean.
Just as the Seasons change, Summer finally rolls around.  People constantly peel away their clothes, throwing them onto the ground.

Love is like the seasons that come every year
We enjoy them dearly when they are here
But seasons change and love does too
But who would've thought your love would leave me
When those fall leaves fell from the trees
Who would've thought this would be my coldest winter because you aren't here with me
Who would've thought those spring rainfalls
would wash away those feelings you use to have
Who would've thought that summer wind would blow you past
Me I was the one you were in love with
But like a heat wave in the month of June
The Sun dried your love up for me too soon
3 1/2 years and what I assumed forever left
Changed so quickly like the seasons in the year
Now those spring raindrops are my tears
Now those cold winters are the coolness of my heart
And the leaves that fall from the trees are
the pieces of my heart
The seasons change and your feelings did too
Why can't you be in love with just as I am with you
I hope when the seasons change again that your feelings do too
Because I can't go through another change of seasons
Without enjoying the weather with you.

Mister Sun was out
Lady Wind did whisper
Baby Clouds did not pout
Birds chirped for a listener

And now the seasons change

Through the tall grass
The autumn breeze blows
A warmth the air lacks
As summer does go

And now the seasons change

Winter comes with clouds
Heavily they sure will weigh,
Over the city over the town
Loom those clouds of gray

And now the seasons change

Back to the beginning
We return from where we came
Everything must start over
So it can continue the same

And again the seasons change

Single carols keep on calling.
In the summer time yet Christmas was still falling.

Seasons pass and many more seasons gone,
time washed away in empty rivers, time is all done.
Children playing on rusty swing sets, all having fun,
this seasons lessons are all but none.

And I'm happy for this moment.
I bought tears to cry for, but why still don't I own it.

Cause time is a rollercoaster paired with life, just going up and down,
this season felt so cold and dry, ****** up all the richness from earthly ground.

This season, kids my age got so much time to drop babies inside each other.
Children born, now where be your parents. Where be mother and father.

It's just seasons passing by, so why do you stay here for so long.
Seasons staying and ringing in my ears like that catchy song.

Seasons...
Give me more reasons....

As people teach you throughout your life,
It will plant a seed in your mind,
Allowing your branches to grow
Making you wiser as you get older,
But what if my branches have already been grown,
Longer than yours,
Abundant with leaves,
Yours have fallen into a pile,
The knowledge faded,
Have you forgotten all the seasons?
The coldness of winter forced you to face introversion,
The chance winter gave you was gracious,
Although her strategies used force she had kindness in her heart,
So you sat by the window and stared longingly for a new season,
Throwing away grand possibilities,
In your small world the world outside seemed cynical,
Yet, It was your own cynicism that rendered you still,
Still enough to watch the flowers blossom into spring,
The sun shone over every being except for you,
Hidden among the shadows,
You were a bud ready to blossom,
But you were stunted by jealousy,
You wanted to navigate
Using the light to craft
So you waited for buds to blossom,
But to you it seemed like impossible competition,
Afraid to bare  seeds of your own because you wanted this patch of earth all to yourself,
All to yourself,
This was colder than winter,
This was blooming into spring,
This was falling into the deceptive warmth of summer,
Some days were rainy
And others, trapped in a dying heat,
Nothing to predict its inconsistent onset,
It arrived and left before I could settle on the decisions,
From the times that I've missed when fall rolls over again
Have you forgotten all the seasons?
Or is it that I remember them differently,
Fall didn't cause me loss,
Winter galed redemption
Spring didn't cause me jealousy,
Summer reassured me my life meant something,
Have I forgotten seasons? Or do I have seasons to remember?
Each one gave me chances and lessons to hold onto,
Feeling and emotions that won't fade away
But do I truly remember the seasons? Or do the seasons remember me?
