Ya Know It's Quite The Ride... !!!
The... Journey of Life... !!!

Taking In The Sights As Time Flies By...
I've Seen Myself Age.....................
As My Journey Has Arranged....
My Life To Dismay An Early Grave... !!!

But My Journey's Displayed...
How To... NOT Watch Face...
Or The Things Heads SAY... !!!

Cos' The Journey They TAKE...
Make... NO MISTAKE... !!!

Are NOT Those Made...
To Keep OTHERS SAFE... !!!

Their Journey's THEIR OWN... !!!
And Have Mostly Shown...

How...
Playing Cards CLOSE...
Is... How They Roll...

Journeys UNFOLD And Roll To SHOW  ...
That Doing For YOU Is A Journey RULE...
That You SHOULDN'T ABUSE... !!!!!

Unless Of Course Your Journeys FORCE...
Is FILLED With Bros Who'll STAND Toe to Toe... !!!
And Trade Right To The VERY LAST BLOW.... !!!!

When You Face FOES... !!!
Whose Journey Flows...
Just Like The Coc'...
They Push UP THEIR NOSE... !!!

To Zones Where Journeys...
Should... NOT GO... !!!!!

Which is Just MY VIEW...
Because What They Do...
is NOT For ME Or My Journey... !!!

But Have Sometimes Been...
The Things I've... SEEN...
That Journey Through...

........ The Poetry........
That's Now Written By ME...
That's Right... BIG V... !!!

Well Now... BIG VIRGE... !!!

A Man Whose Words...
Traverse And Serve...
To Show MY JOURNEY...

And The Roads...
That I've Sometimes Walked...

Cos' I've Walked Through WARS...
WITHOUT... My Sword... !!!

I've Walked Past ******...
Who Boys'... ADORE... !!!

I've Also SEEN...
Some SWEET *****... !!!!!

And Love Has Been...
A Thing of BEAUTY... !!!
That I'm Glad To Have Seen...
On... This Journey...

Where I've Seen PAIN...
And... Family Strain... !!!

Be Things... THAT...
Eventually DRAINED... !!!!!!!

Til' Love Said.......

" Hey, right now I need,
A BREAK OKAY !"...

So... Is That Love... ?!!!?
Or Simply How Some Journeys RUN... ?

Well That Question...
I'll............... Delay.........

For Another Day...
of... BIG VIRGE Wordplay... !!!

Cos' For Now I'm DONE...
IT’S Been ROUGH And TOUGH... !!!

But Has...
Mostly Been... FUN... !!!

The Things I've SEEN And RISEN ABOVE...
In All The Things That I've Experienced...

Because They... BELIEVE...
Have... Well Served Me... !!!

On..........

..... " My Journey ".....
Life, when you look back, certainly gives us plenty to write about, so, here are a few of my life experiences, put into rhyme.....

A fresh start to things recast
I start my job - it may be my last
New things, new roles, new people
Will I succeed, will I fit in
We...  Are on A Journey

At first, I see a pleasant face
A smile that cheers the soul
She turns and looks and dare I think
She'd make my life so whole
We...  Are on A Journey

It started small as some things do
A word, a glance, a sterling smile
The understanding is so clear
I marvel more and hold it dear
We...  Are on A Journey

As time moves on, I settle in
The days and weeks stretch further on
I feel secure and have a place
I long for her warm embrace
We...  Are on A Journey

Then one day she bears a gift
In jest, I'm sure as hearts abound
I love the thought it could be true
I hope nothing can change my view
We...  Are on A Journey

One day she sits and opines
we have so much in common
I agree and say for sure it’s true
The path is clear, but can I woo
We...  Are on A Journey

Years pass and life it moves at pace
With joy and loss, a mix we share
We look, we smile, we talk
We know we fit but leave it sit
We...  Are on A Journey

The word is comfortable we share
The feeling is so clear
The word is love, dare it be
How can this work we’ll have to see?
We...  Are on A Journey

We are so good at being good
Platonic is the word
But love I know is such a thing
I hold out hope by just a string
We...  Are on A Journey

The eyes so strong and blue
And listening and attentive
Are but a window to her soul
I barely keep my self-control
We...  Are on A Journey

Friends for life it seems to be
The outcome that is best for all
and if it comes to that alone
My heart will not have turned to stone
We...  Are on A Journey

Journey to Mecca – The IMAX Experience

Imagine the scene... There are crowds of people milling about, some in queues, some chatting by the windows, others sipping a warm drink. There are children playing in corners, babies drinking milk, and wherever you look you see people of all creeds and races united under the banner of a shared humanity. And what is the reason for this diverse cross section of society to be present in one place on a quiet and sleepy Sunday afternoon at Birmingham’s ThinkTank? The answer is right there across the busy foyer. It is a poster for a new IMAX film called “Journey to Mecca”. The very air bubbles with excitement and expectation as the cinema staff cut the proverbial ribbon and usher the people into the auditorium.

Space, vast and open, is the first thing that hits the audience as they take their seats and let their eyes wander over the immense spectrum of the IMAX screen. A map unfurls across the screen and a narrator explains the time and lays down the background to the scene that is about to commence. The year is 1325, the place is Tangier and the story is about a man who is about to embark upon a journey to the holy city of Mecca on a pilgrimage. The charismatic young man is Ibn Battuta, he stares at the stars that twinkle across the canvas of the night sky and he dreams of spires, of domes, of jewelled cities that sparkle in the desert sands, and his vision swoops like a falcon over the alleys and streets of the kingdom until they rest upon the Ka’aba, the sacred building at the heart of Islam.

Ibn Battuta bids farewell to his beloved family and sets out on his journey which will see him tested, both physically and psychologically, as he travels to the fabled city of Mecca. His trials and tribulations on the road to Mecca are detailed with an emotional richness rarely seen in modern cinema. The script is nuanced in a way that allows the audience to connect with the action and the various characters. The depth of research and the care in which the tale is told is delicately balanced. This is cinema as entertainment and as education.

The film reveals the magic and wonder of the Hajj by contrasting the life of Ibn Battuta with modern day worshippers at the same holy sites as those visited by the young traveller all those years ago. The scale of the event is brought to realisation in a way that will make even the most jaded film connoisseur gasp with astonishment.

In terms of technicalities, the IMAX technology is notorious for being extremely expensive and difficult to master. The format does not allow for the creative freedom that one can utilize in 35mm, so it is to the credit of the crew that this film looks seamless and breathtaking. Every single frame of the drama is a beautifully crafted canvas that seems to glow like a painting. The cinematography is exemplary and employs a painterly palette. The deserts and mountains are dry, cracked and dusty brown like wrinkled parchment while the sun drips golden lava across the scorching landscape. The white garments of the pilgrims are like beacons floating in the creamy dust of the desert sands whilst the tapestries hanging in the bazaars are lovingly stitched in green and blue threads; and the silver and gold bangles on the arms and ankles of the village girls ****** and twinkle. The atmosphere of warmth and friendship is apparent in every scene, especially when the succulent food is shared by the soft red glow of the campfires. High above this blend of colours, languages and the swirl of human emotions are the dancing stars that ripple in the heavens. The spectacle and sounds of a bygone era are stunningly designed.

The soundtrack also serves the film quite well. The music is never intrusive or melodramatic, it is there as a soft accompaniment to the proceedings. The use of strings, Moorish mandolins, African percussion and the human voice brings an exotic and ethereal ambiance to the drama.

“Journey to Mecca” is a journey of hope, a journey of understanding and a journey that will inspire. The sheer magnitude and beauty of this film left the audience awed and instilled a desire to learn more about the past which we sometimes neglect to reflect upon in our fast moving lives. This film is an ode to peace, love and compassion, and acts as a bridge of understanding between the past and present. And, as the film fades to black at the ******, there is a final haunting image that will resonate with every member of the audience. The message is simple and poignant. It illustrates the transient and swift nature of life; it shows how we glow brightly by the light of the noon day sun and then fade into the tranquil shadows of the coming twilight. Our journey in this life should be one that respects all of humanity despite our cultural or political differences. It is not often that one leaves the cinema knowing that your soul has been moved by something rare, delicate and exquisite. This was one of those rare occasions.

A Journey!

"A journey of life,
A journey unknown,
A journey so exciting,
A journey untold,
A journey of discovery,
A journey of adventure,
A journey to experience,
A journey to remember!"
Kim Yu May 2015
I’ve got a mission
To reach the destination
I was destined to go on a journey,
A journey which is unreached by many,
This is the journey of my life.

I shall walk down the empty streets
Through the boulevards of broken dreams
To the successfully riches
This is the journey which takes years to reach,
The journey of my life.

This journey is not an adventure,
It is a mental journey through nature
With the care & support of my family and friends,
I believe I can complete it with love in my hands…

So journey with me
Let’s push forward…
There’s nothing to rewind,
In this journey through my mind.
Alone she stands...
at the bottom of the mountain.
The beginning of her journey.
Her journey to forgiveness.
She looks at the steepness of the climb,
and wonders where is the strength she'll find.
Especially when her backpack is full of rocks...
The painful memories of emotional abuse and verbal attacks.
But, as difficult as this journey will be,
she knows she must take it,
in order to be free.
Then He whispers to her soul,
"Step by step, with Me,
this is the only way to climb
The Journey to Forgiveness."

She begins her journey,
one step at a time.
One foot before the other.
With the heavy burden upon her back,
which she knows she must surrender.
She makes stops along the way.
The memories surface.
Her wounds lay open and bare.
But she chooses to forgive.
To release them of the debt.
And empties some of the rocks
from her backpack.

She continues on.
The journey is tiresome,
and oh, so long.
She is tempted to give up.
Many times.
But He keeps reminding her of the prize.
Another stop.
More rocks dumped.
More forgiveness given.
More
freedom.
And another stop.
And another.
Until finally...
her burden grows lighter.
As her soul unloads its bitterness.
She sees the top now.
Oh bliss!
She climbs faster now.
She empties out the last rock.
The biggest rock.
The largest offence.
The one that was hardest to forgive.
The one that bound her in chains.
She releases it now.
Into God's hands.
And hoists herself up to the top.

She stands now in victory!
The burden she has carried so long is empty!
She has completed her journey.
Her Journey to Forgiveness.
And is finally free.
Until tomorrow...
when begins another journey.
To forgiveness.

This is my story, the story of the journey I am on
It is not an easy journey, not for anyone no man, no woman, no child
This journey is unforgiving at times, that does not stop me
It brings the tears, anger, and doubtfulness out of me therefore it
Does not stop me from continuing, none told this journey would be easy
That does not stop me from pushing forward into the journey ahead
My journey is not over yet, the roads ahead won't be easy for anyone
That does not mean that me nor you will stop this journey
Because my friend our journey has just begun....

I’m looking out on the road the sky is bright the wind is cold.
The wind my element it blows so hard, the sheer force of the world is felt in this air.
I feel the life being ****** out and then in to my body at the same time such a beautiful sensation.
This is the sensation right before you begin the Great Work when you feel the energy of the universe.
The energy just whirling around in circles the path of lapis ruber or another path.

But my journey if not for lapis philosophorum my journey is for blank, my mind is not for anything.
The journey I travel is not for life it is not for death this journey is not for a **** thing in existence.
My journey is for something much more what it is only one on the road will understand.
So when I feel the wind blowing I ask myself is it time for me to move? Is it time to start?
I am going to the center of the sun what will I do now that I’ve taken the first step has it all begun?

It is not possible to turn back not in this particular journey.
In this journey once you take a step, the platform you were walking on before is completely destroyed.
It is swallowed up in the sea of what, the platform is consumed in the place of never-ending nothingness.
Really it is not a place, it is swallowed in the void, so you can’t turn around even if you will it.

Now I as I walk this path I sit here and I see the star, on it are five points.
The five points of the star are all looking at me I just wonder if the look is inverted or upright.
If it is observing me inverted what will I do? If it is watching me uprightly what can I do?
These questions are both the same but which way is the star observing me.
I couldn’t give a **** either way, but at certain points it seems I would give a ****, now why is that?

See I’m on a spiraling path of this something, and it’s becoming clear, it’s not that I’m stepping forward.
In this journey I am not stepping forward I am not stepping backwards I am doing much more.
But I am stepping.
That’s the beauty of this journey where time ceases to exist.
It’s because at the end of this journey I might have explored the universe in its entirety.
I may have went to the edge of this universe of motion and jumped off the edge.
I would have slipped through the corners barely escaping the hound dogs of the barrier.
And after facing the eternal beasts, I would have ended up back inside of the universe.
It’s funny because after this timeless journey, I may have gained so much and time will have certainly passed.

est ruber in terra, populous non est faciem in principia pater sol regnat
in terra humanos est regnant.
deus sol non est in oceanaia luna non est in caelum nocte quam quam non lux.
non lux quam quam sol non est regnat.
hominis the rise of the moon is so great that the light of the sun can be overtake.
But the light of the moon come from the light of the sun there is nothing else that can actually and truly be done.
What to be done is what to be given to all who want to go forward in the way of life.
The path of love and the path of light leads to the same sources it is up to one of us to decide which one will be our tool. Back to what I was talking about the sand was awesome.
The alpha and the omega a rise of the sun and the fall of the moon also rise of the moon and the fall of the sun.

Love a man whose strength of character precedes him on his journey in life.

Love a man who’s not afraid to stumble and fall, only to pick himself up and face the wind once more.

Love a man who’s made mistakes and whose heart is etched with scars of long lost loves, lingering embraces and kisses that tore at the soul.

Love a man who listens to his inner guides, and not knowing exactly where they lead, picks up his sword and leads his horse into the dark of a forest from where he may never return.

Because he has faith in his dreams, even those that leave him broken and in need of a fresh start.

Because he is the wizard of his own destiny, weaving the strands of the unknown into a tapestry that he can cover himself with when times are hard.

Because he is a warrior and he is hungry for a life that is lived without regrets.

Love a man whose smile is honest and whose eyes fell you to your knees.

Love a man who will turn away from safety, trusting that his passions are a danger he cannot live without.

Love a man whose hands know how to explore your secrets and his body awakens every sin you’ve ever craved—he won’t judge you, he’s a worshiper of the Feminine.

Love a man whose tears are hot, who bathes in the ashes of his mistakes. Love him when his eyes are shadowed, when he walks the beach in search of his muse, when he stands naked in a soul consuming fire; because he’ll come out stronger than before. He’s promised you that and he keeps his word.

A man who understands the journey, will not apologize for where his mind leads him. He will seek wisdom from any place that it hides. This man is a visionary, and he seeks a woman whose life is her own.

He will own you if you ask it, but only when you allow him into your darkest requests. He will advise you if you need it, but give you space to follow your own truth. He will understand that your journey is a battlefield only you can lay yourself down on.

But ask him for protection and you’ll hear his sword rasp out of its shield.

Love a man who dreams of the future but never wastes today.

Love a man whose intensity keeps the wolves at bay.

Leave your door wide open, he will come to you when you need him – stranger, seeker, sinner; thinker.

Men on their journey push past the mists of the unknown and bare themselves to loss or gain, whichever will find him first, and trusting in the process, awaken stronger, more alive, gifting the world with their insights and inventions.

Men on their journey will enjoy your mind, will yearn to learn from you—will find their pleasure in discovering your truth.

Men on their journey are wild and sensual. Because their soul knows no boundaries, their thoughts are limitless, their voices can either soothe or excite.

Love a man who shakes loose the questions of the ages, who throws himself in to the sea, seeking salty respite from the ravages of his quests, who listens to the call of mermaids, and believes that the spirit world holds more wisdom than all the books in the world.

Love a man who’ll be on his journey until his dying day.

You’ll know him by his integrity. He’ll never tell you that he’s finished being the adventurer.

You'll know him by his vulnerable heart.

— The End —
