Her heart is crushed from hurting him.
He took a shot from her own sin.
How can they move to higher ground.
Her heart is crushed from hurting him.
They pay the price of foolish acts.
That may not heal, and that's a fact.
Her heart is crushed from hurting him.
He took a shot from her own sin.

The one that held her hand
when needed.
Is now holding hers
for strength.
Concern and nurturing
have traded places.
As one grows weak,
the other is now strong.

He is the resurrector
of my unknown death.
The rescuer who found
me when no one else
knew I was lost.
Depth of life has
been restored.
Deep love with boundaries
surround me.
I am whole again
for the first time.

I walk the path,
I do not stray.
I see the storm,
that life does spray.
Protected from
nothing at all.
I'm anchored in
I will not fall.
