Your Eyes

Like sun drops on fresh fallen snow
Like the light in fields of grain
Like dew caressing swaying blades
Like glistening summer’s rain
Like lakes of clear water, seized the sun,
In the dawn, the warming rise
The distant stars’ twinkling brought to Earth

It was the sparkle in your eyes
As you smiled that stupid grin you have.
