What is zero, but infinity at rest

What is zero, but infinity at rest,
a hillside wanting to become an olive,
an olive,
to become a branch,
a branch,
that needs a root,
a root,
that needs a vine,
and life that comes from rock,
spinning out from itself,
from breath,
that comes forth singing,
green and woody,
notes of ourselves,
the fiery reds,
the blue yellows,
and the black.
and the black.
and the black.
take away all that you are,
the fiery reds,
the beautiful blues,
the yellow,
the black,
take away the color,
and marvel at the colorless,
stand in awe of nothingness,
resting there,
zero at rest.
