Waiting for Eve

What can I believe?
Waiting, waiting for Eve
She’s taking such a long time
She just went to get some fruit
What have you done to be charged with such a crime?

There’s nothing to fear
Isaac, Isaac come here
Laughter sub-planted with tears
Listen to your father boy
Try and hear what your father hears

And so on it goes
The man lies but he knows
They will find out one day
The truth is the better way

Hey can you see?
How much you mean to me
Seeing through my spiraled eyes
I bit the fruit and now they cry
It tastes bitter but I learn
One more bend to turn
If this is my end
Then I want to thank you friend
