The laughter of rain

On the highest mountain
east of the Far East
quiet villages
breathing below
clouds swell above
with the greyest intention
yet, the rain slides
along the ribs
of the mountain
all the way
to the gates of the
first sleeping village
laughing
every inch
of the way
down
