The Arrival Of Summer

Summer sunshine scorching grass
Dreamy white clouds whisper passed
Butterflies flit from flower to flower
No grey sky, no rain to shower
Insects crawl on warm stone walls
Baby bird for parent calls
Children playing, kicking footballs
Stay out late until dusk falls
All around the buzz of bees
Rustling foliage on the trees
Sun cream on, it's best for you
The summer's here, about time too
