street sonnet

and who would ever only cry?; this day
contains a subtle reason, a purpose
the gentle vision of children at play
an understanding of human "service"

and a one heart beating stilling all pain
remembrances of creation's glory
the mountain-pure song of total escape
and the final hero of the story

well it all still comes down to you and me
the free destruction of all slavery
