Songwriting

When I get that talented I’ll release something, I promise
And if I never end up that good, then I guess
You’ll just have a whole lifetime of mediocre recordings
To play with and cry to after I’m dead
Just leave me with my ‘fun for now’
Abandon my company, so I can write about
How much I’ll miss you until you come around again
Until you come around again
Until you come around again
Or I go find you in town
In the drinks I’ll drown
But I’ll find you in the heart of town
The people and the concrete are all I need
And you in my company
