Present/Somewhere Else/Gone Altogether

Shut in walls of white
Silent in this night
I hear a music that
Plays only for me

I'm all alone here
No, no one is near
The hand on the glass
That holds the good beer
Brings me to a fear
That is the same as last year

Present
Somewhere else
Lost in a future
Caught up in plans
Snagged from the past
Remembering to
Recall a feeling you thought
Was wrong but now see
Was right

Scream

Cry

Bawl Your Fucking Eyes Out

See
If anyone hears You

The snot
Runs down your nose

The shit
Gathers in
Your pants

The piss
Trickles down
Your legs

Become Human,
All too Human,
Once
Again

The lights
The sounds
The taste of angel's
Wings covered in the fume's
Of the mad commuting; the
Impenetrable routine; the never-
Ending bellow inside a deep,
Dark tunnel; forever ending
For everyone and no one

We inch
We crawl
We rise & We fall

Saving all the
Ribbons of Grace we've
Acquired after
All This Time,

So that when the knock is sounded,
The horn is blown, and the call that
Finally echoes Your name, where

So many times before
It was someone else's,

You can make your way toward the steeple
On a thin path like a string through a needle
The oceans sounding, the mountains moaning,
With the sheep obediently following their keeper
