Placebo

You grabbed my arm
and pulled me out
of Hell? No, only my mind.
A cheap knock-off.

False control to heal the soul,
How ingenius.

You gave a new name to Amanda Munro,
Through it all, you were my placebo.

Never tell me of this false cure,
let me believe the lies.
